"American shoppers are being offered “woke alert” text warnings about products pushing a perceived Left-wing agenda, as part of a conservative backlash to Bud Light’s partnership with a trans influencer.

The text notification system is being set up by conservative advocacy group Consumers’ Research in response to widespread Right-wing anger over the light beer brand’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney a TikTok personality.

The controversy has become the latest battle in the culture wars dividing the US, amid fierce debate over trans rights and corporate America’s role in political activism.

The service, “Woke Alerts”, will launch next week to combat what it called “woke capitalism” by informing shoppers when a major company might be pushing a liberal agenda."

I genuinely have no idea whatsoever why anyone cares.

I believe 100% that some people feel like they were born into a body that is the wrong gender for what they believe in their mind. And I support their right to make choices that allow them to live their lives in a way that they feel is more the truth of who they are.

Why wouldn't everyone want that? How does it affect anyone's lives if they want to transition, or what they want to call themselves?

It's just fear. People don't understand something, so they hate on it.

Which gender is a chair? Which gender is Covid? Gender is a linguistic construct. The most common number of genders is three, but there are languages that use more than three genders, especially when referring to domesticated animals where neutering happens.

There are genetically women who have penises. It is possible for a fetus to have female genetics, and to develop male sexual organs. Whether that would be defined as a woman or a man is up for debate.

Which is a debate I really do not want to be involved in. This is a weird obsession you have.

It's more than that as know you well. A good example was the NHS referring to breasts as chests!! Why should the vast majority have to upturn everything just to accommodate a few activists? Granted they are very vocal and can be violent as well. Fortunately common sense, which is far from common these days, prevailed and they were told to stop that bullshit. Naturally if Labour ever regained power, it would be bullshit on steroids time again.
