Sales of Bud Light have fallen off a cliff, the death knell for woke ads has sounded

A-B beer sales are down.

And yet the stock price is up by 10% in a month... If you have evidence that the sale have "fallen off a cliff" you could make a lot of money... Do you have proof?

We keep coming back to the reality of the market. The market keeps checking your fantasies, and finding them wanting.

That is a loss that they will never recover even if sales return eventually (they won't) . The image of A-B has suffered damage.

Losses you cannot prove will happen might be permanent? Given that we are talking about a demographically crashing population, not very permanent... And that you cannot prove it is happening, probably not even temporary.

Ask JCP what happens when a long time big brand announces that they dont like their current customers, that they would rather have different customers.

I'd sign up for this.

"American shoppers are being offered “woke alert” text warnings about products pushing a perceived Left-wing agenda, as part of a conservative backlash to Bud Light’s partnership with a trans influencer.

The text notification system is being set up by conservative advocacy group Consumers’ Research in response to widespread Right-wing anger over the light beer brand’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney a TikTok personality.

The controversy has become the latest battle in the culture wars dividing the US, amid fierce debate over trans rights and corporate America’s role in political activism.

The service, “Woke Alerts”, will launch next week to combat what it called “woke capitalism” by informing shoppers when a major company might be pushing a liberal agenda."

From the Telegraph.

If a small, dying group of your old customers do not want you to get new customers, they are holding you back.

So, Walter, you believe that a six (6) billion dollar loss of sales is a good thing for a company.

The corporates at Bud are saying that they knew nootthing (sic) about this disastrous sales commercial.

Plausible deniability?

Corporate (anyone at the superior level) didn't know about it, and didn't approve....WAlt couldn't have possibly missed that part of this whole fiasco...but if he did, here's one example: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...rtnering-trans-influencer-Dylan-Mulvaney.html

Walter will look you in the face and tell you that black is really, really, white.

“The polarizing marketing partnership between beer giant Bud Light and trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney was launched without approval from senior executives of parent company Anheuser-Busch (AB), according to a new report.

The partnership unveiled on April 1 drew intense backlash from some quarters, with musician Kid Rock posting a video of himself shooting at cases of Bud Light, and country singers John Rich and Travis Tritt dropping ties with the brand.”

Heads (below the corporate level) will roll for this disaster, notwithstanding Walter’s nonsense that Bud was not harmed.

Walter:

I don't think that Kid Rock, John Rich and Travis Tritt are part of a small, dying group of your old customers.

I don't drink monkey piss so it doesn't matter to me one but about bud light.

Yeah Nike stock did soar, child labor means higher profit margins. You're a fucking retard

You my dear were out to destroy Nike and they made a fucking fool of you, again.

6 billion loss of sales?
ROFLMAO. Sometimes it would be better for you to keep your mouth shut and NOT prove you are an idiot.

A company's market cap has little to do with sales. Market capitalization is the number of stocks issued times the value of the stock.

A 6 billion loss in sales over 2 weeks for BUD (Anheiser Busch inBev) would be impossible since their total revenues worldwide for ALL products is about 5 billion per month.

Well, Pobre (it’s clear why you are called pobre) the drop was in sales, not market value.

Try to do better with your lack of self control, Pobre. It’s a sure sign of immaturity…Pobre.

No, Pobre, I’ll keep posting to keep you ignorant posters informed.

Bud Light has apologized on Twitter.

See my thread.

"Bud Light Offers Lukewarm Apology to its Customers"

“I simply don’t understand why they hired the person who was doing the marketing. I mean, if your target customer is Kid Rock, and then all of a sudden you decide to go to RuPaul, that just doesn’t make any sense at all,” Oxygen Financial CEO Ted Jenkin told Fox News Digital.

Budweiser factories have also reportedly been targeted by a wave of bomb threats this week.
