Sales of Bud Light have fallen off a cliff, the death knell for woke ads has sounded

Well, Pobre (it’s clear why you are called pobre) the drop was in sales, not market value.

Try to do better with your lack of self control, Pobre. It’s a sure sign of immaturity…Pobre.

No, Pobre, I’ll keep posting to keep you ignorant posters informed.

Bud Light has apologized on Twitter.

See my thread.

"Bud Light Offers Lukewarm Apology to its Customers"

LOL..
Ok, where and when were sales figures released?

I'll give you a hint, the next quarterly sales numbers won't be released until May.
Made up bullshit doesn't count as sales figures.

Quarterly sales for Anheiser Busch inBev) are about $14 billion and that is total worldwide.
I don't see any drop off in sales of Modelo, Stella, Michelob happening because of you idiots and your Bud tizzy.

It's a beautiful day for football... no Bud Light to worry about in the Shoe... I'll have to check out the tailgates to see if anyone is Raising one high;)

Well, Pobre...

"Sales of the beer have since fallen around the country. According to reports, bottle sales are down 30 percent and tap sales are down by as much as 50 percent.

Braintree Brewhouse, a sports bar in Boston, reported that 80 percent of Bud Light drinkers ordered something else this week.

A bar a New York City's Hells Kitchen district, known for its large gay community, reported Bud Light draft sales down 58 percent and bottle sales down 70 percent.

A Texas bar with a Bud Light sponsored darts league which normally sells three kegs of the beer during the weekly event, claims to have sold just four bottles this week, a drop of 99 percent."

Weekly sales figures are an indicator of quarterly sales figures.

Lose the juvenile ad homs, Pobre, you aren't very good at them.

If you can post figures showing Bud Light sales going up since the commercial disaster, post them...Pobre,

It's a beautiful day for baseball too, TOP.

Go Braves!

A bar in Boston isn't weekly sales figures. Nor is a bar in NYC.
Bud Light is NOT the only beer that Anheuser Busch sells. What beers were selling? Modelo? Rolling Rock? Michelob? Busch? Goose Island? Stella? Corona?
Switching from Bud Light to Busch Light or Michelob Light doesn't hurt Anheuser one bit.
You idiots have no idea which beer brands Anheuser owns and sells.

Try to focus, Pobre...BUD LIGHT.

The commercial was for BUD LIGHT.

If you can post a link showing that BUD LIGHT sales have gone up, do so, Pobre.

Commercials for a specific beer (Bud Light) are made for one and only one motive...to sell more of that specific beer...not less.

Anheuser-Busch InBev peed upstream to their drinking water, trying to be WOKE.

Bud Light drinkers do not want to see some freak in a beer commercial and said drinkers said so with their wallets.

You don't seem to understand that boycotting Pepsi by switching from Pepsi to Diet Pepsi doesn't really hurt the company.

Switching from Bud Light to Busch Light doesn't hurt Anheuser Busch.
Is there a difference if they sell 1,000,000 cans of Bud Light and 500,000 cans of Busch Light and then they sell 500,000 cans of Bud Light and 1,000,000 cans of Busch Light?

No one can explain this boycott, aside from just pure bigotry & hate.

That's all it is. It's everything conservatives always rail against. They're triggered, they're acting like snowflakes, and they want to cancel an entire group of Americans.

And a tiny group of Americans at that; people that they will probably never run into IRL.

It's a beautiful day for baseball too, TOP.

Go Braves!

Indeed and later today the Indians play!! There's going to be some crispy Critters coming out of this Stadium this afternoon.... so far haven't seen any little blue cans...

So, Walter, you believe that a six (6) billion dollar loss of sales is a good thing for a company.

InBev did not announce any losses, and it would be impossible for them to have had $6 billion in losses. You are misusing your words. You mean market cap, not losses.

So let's look at the market cap.

In the last month, the market cap went from $115.6 billion to a current $128.7 billion, and continues to climb in after hours trading. The high was $133.1 billion, so it is relatively close to its high. It is not uncommon for after a huge jump in price, a stock settles a bit.

So stockholders gained $17.5 billion, lost $7.4 billion, and then gained $3 billion, for a total gain of $13.1 billion, or 11.4%. When a stock goes up by 11.4% in a month, that is a very good thing.

The corporates at Bud are saying that they knew nootthing (sic) about this disastrous sales commercial.

If there were disastrous sales, you would think the investors would know about it, and the price would be down... Not up.

Or put another way, you claim you know the market is completely wrong, and that InBev is collapsing. You can make a mint off shorting the stock, if you are correct. If you are certain of what you are saying, rush out and short it.

Corporate (anyone at the superior level) didn't know about it, and didn't approve....WAlt couldn't have possibly missed that part of this whole fiasco...but if he did, here's one example: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...rtnering-trans-influencer-Dylan-Mulvaney.html

The market cap has risen by 11.4% in the last month. It is hard to miss news that good. It did go down a bit after overshooting, but is rising back up again. To put this into perspective, even in after hours trading, the market cap has risen by $600 million.

Heads (below the corporate level) will roll for this disaster, notwithstanding Walter’s nonsense that Bud was not harmed.

There would be no way for heads to roll at the corporate level. The stock prices has risen by 11.4% in a month. You cannot fire a CEO that is that successful. Doukeris could go on a killing spree, and he would not be fired with stock prices souring by that much.

6 billion loss of sales?
ROFLMAO. Sometimes it would be better for you to keep your mouth shut and NOT prove you are an idiot.

A company's market cap has little to do with sales. Market capitalization is the number of stocks issued times the value of the stock.

A 6 billion loss in sales over 2 weeks for BUD (Anheiser Busch inBev) would be impossible since their total revenues worldwide for ALL products is about 5 billion per month.

Earl knows nothing about business. It is just embarrassing.

Well, Pobre (it’s clear why you are called pobre) the drop was in sales, not market value.

You said they had a loss, which does not mean they have lost market cap. By the way, "market value" is also an entirely different thing than market cap.

And most important, market cap has risen by 11.4% in the last month. InBev is not in trouble.

Bud Light's parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev has lost more than $6 BILLION in market cap in just six days after Dylan Mulvaney partnership sparked backlash

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...er-Busch-InBev-lost-6-BILLION-market-cap.html

So market cap gained $17.5 billion, lost $7.4 billion, and then gained $3 billion, for a total gain of $13.1 billion, or 11.4%. When a stock goes up by 11.4% in a month, that is a very good thing.

It is not unusual for a stock price to overshoot, retreat a bit, which is what InBev did... But very importantly, after the slight retreat, it has started going up again.
