Those photos of Bush bowing to what appears to be a Middle Eastern Saltan of some sort are great, I love the response to these hypocritical fools!
The Emperor of Japan has less power than the Queen of England.
1) the word is SULTAN
2) what photos of Bush are you referring to???
See above, supercandy!
I thought I saw Bush on this cite... oops, you are right... But look here at Bush killing the "SULTAN"!

Sorry, but I don't see any of Bush killing the 'sultan'
FYI... the depth of the bow DOES indicate different levels of respect and/or subservience.
exactly.....
the japanese are hailing obama's bow as giving he emporer the respect due under japanese culture....e.g., submitting a low bow to a superior
does anyone know if any other president has bowed these deeply to a foreign head of state?
I think I might come up with some "You might have Obama Derangement System if . . ." guidelines.
As is, you might have ODS if you are seriously contemplating the depth of Obama's bow and want to compare it to the depths of the bows of previous presidents. Get a grip, Yurtle.
Because we're in recovery & Obama's policies are working so well, they have to attack a bow.
I admittedly haven't read the rest of this thread so I would missed what lead to this but was the above said tounge-in-cheek?
yeah...the president, who represents the United States of America, breaking precedent by bowing deeply in a sign of submission to foreign leaders means nothing....
he was already shaking his hand, there was no need for the bow, it was essentially obama submitting the US to the emperor of Japan

Absolutely not.
Also, you might have Obama Derangement Syndrome (thanks) if you seriously contend that Obama bowing to the emperor of Japan "was essentially submitting the US to the emperor of Japan."
Nice work, Yurtle.
Where was the outrage when Bush massaged the German Chancellor's shoulders?
Everyone knows that in Germany, if you massage the shoulders, it means you cede military prowess to the recipient for 112 years (unless it's a leap year, when it would be 111 years)....
