Prove they were "lies" or, even actually stated to them. What's on paper counts. What people claim is utterly the weakest thing you can present.

Not necessarily...if these people were told lies in order to get them to sign a contract, that contract becomes null and void.

Then the plaintiff's claims are null and void.
