Not necessarily...if these people were told lies in order to get them to sign a contract, that contract becomes null and void.
Didn't read it because it wasn't translated, and the people signed those forms under duress and false promises.
Plaintiff: I was promised x,y,z! They didn't give me that stuff!
Judge: Did you sign this contract?
Plaintiff: Yes, under duress and under false pretenses
Judge: (To defendant) Did you tell these people you were taking them to Boston, but then took them to MV?
Defendant: Yes.
Judge: Then the contract is null and void and you are now admitting to kidnapping.
