"Roe Versus Wade"

I was afraid that was going to happen. Women have died, throughout history, from massive sepsis from miscarriages where fetal remains aren't completely expelled. We're going to see the same thing happen with chemical abortions too. Wait for it.

You do have to laugh, are you saying that Scandinavian countries are medically less advanced?

The figures showed that the proportion of medical abortions has risen sharply. In most countries, medical abortion made up at least half of all such procedures, with the highest proportions found in Scandinavia: Finland (97%); Sweden (93%); and Norway (88%).

I'm sure Pro life physicians will be happy to work in pro life states.
If you can find them. Physicians tend to be educated. The only ones who would work in these states are the religious zealots who aren't very good physicians

Many won’t move to these states

Some will leave the state

They screwed themselves

Yeah killing babies is so important to some people they have to move to states where they can do it legally. People could wait to have babies until they are ready to support them but fuck that, savages have to fuck right?

In many red states, medical decisions have been taken from the doctors and patients, and given to religious fanatics with no understanding of science.

When exactly does that baby you refer to become a baby?

Before that, they gave permission to any Dr./Nurse to deny care to any patient, citing religious convictions.

Death panels like $arah Palin screeched about? I'm curious about your comment -- which religious fanatics are making medical decisions? Are you referring to the forced-birthers?

I am referring to the cases where laws are banning ectopic abortions, and the like. It is beyond forced birthers, because ectopic pregnancies do not end in a live birth. It is forced attempts to find a miracle.

Good question. To my way of thinking, when it's conceived but I know that's problematic for people. When would you say it's a baby?

Certainly not at conception. I ask that question in the context of pro-lifers using the language “killing unborn babies or children”. As if they were toddlers of some sort.

My belief is that life begins at conception. When do they become babies or children? I don’t know the answer to that.

Hello Walt,

Legislating from the pulpit. No wonder our country is going to you know where. We are not supposed to make laws recognizing religion.

Whatever happened to the 1st amendment?

The answer is in the name, pro-lifer not pro baby. Killing terminates a life, the person/baby/fetus discussion seems meaningless. We put people in prison for abusing dogs.

Ive not heard a good argument for the distinction.

My understanding is that life is ongoing. There is no point where it 'begins' because it is handed down from one generation to the next.

A fetus becomes a baby upon live birth.
