Some of these states are the same ones that refused to follow the COVID mitigation protocols issued by epidemiologists and other infectious disease experts. Who wants to practice in a state where whatever medical advice and instruction you give your patients is likely not to be followed because overall they look at medical experts and scientists as quacks?

Worse yet, patients like this poor woman are forced to suffer during miscarriages in these states

A woman in Texas said after finding out she had a miscarriage, her doctor refused to perform the necessary medical procedure, which means she carried her dead fetus for two weeks until she found a doctor who would help her.

Which is why doctors like the one in the OP are conflicted. They feel that they are needed in these states in order to protect women, but they fear the legal issue.

Women moving out of hard line red states. Doctors choosing to work elsewhere. Hmmm.

Hope that's what they wanted.

I'm sure Pro life physicians will be happy to work in pro life states.

I was afraid that was going to happen. Women have died, throughout history, from massive sepsis from miscarriages where fetal remains aren't completely expelled. We're going to see the same thing happen with chemical abortions too. Wait for it.
 
Just as the states need to pass their own laws to keep it in place (if thats the will of their people) they also need to clarify the rules regarding the exceptions (health of the mother/rape/incest).

Lack of clarity is all thats impacting the examples given.

And somebody needs to make a decision on Plan B's PDQ.
