What's your most important issue today?

trumps treason is a states rights issue?

how so?

this should be good.

Thanks for admitting Pedo Don is a fucking traitor.

Of course his treason affects State's Rights. He's an autocrat. The entire purpose of his coup was to install himself as President-for-Life. The fact you refuse to understand how that negatively impacts State's Rights is not my problem. It's a problem for all Americans to decide what they want: an autocracy or a democracy.

I vote for democracy and the rule of law. You support autocracy and the rule of force...even though you want others to do the dirty work.

You're a fucking nonsensical idiot.

That's not the issue at hand. The issue in this case is Right to Work. California wants to force independent contractors--but only those who have what would be called blue collar occupations--into becoming employees of those that hire them so unions can force membership and get more dues increasing their power.

That isn't a federal vs. states rights issue, except if you apply it to the Joke administration who wants the same thing nationally.

Biden still wants to kill the gig economy and force workers to pay union dues

Democrats want this because they benefit most from union dues. Unions want it because it increases their power. Workers in most cases clearly want nothing to do with unions. So, it's a case of forcing membership down worker's throats by federal and state fiat. That's wrong and bad.

It's part of the problem because your solution creates a larger, more powerful Fed which overrules State's Rights.

Unions = Right of Assembly. Another example of your seeking to use an all-powerful Fed to strip Americans of their rights.

Going into the 2022 mid-terms, what single issue is most important to you? Could you give us some indication of why that issue is so important to you as well?

Here's the list I have to choose from:

Climate change / the environment
Jan 6 / Trump's involvement therein
Economy / inflation
Abortion
Supply chain issues--like unavailability of baby formula
Illegal immigration / border issues, to include drugs
Crime / police / punishment
Russia-Ukraine
Something else (please list it clearly)

Only choose one, the one most important to you.

There you go. That was easy.

Democracy! I'm voting in the Mid-Terms to protect it!

Without Democracy- We're fucked!

Unions =/= Right to work or of assembly when membership is forced. Why do you think "Closed Shop" states like Michigan hemorrhaged jobs and workers for decades to become failures? It's because unions got greedy and lazy more than anything else.

Passing bills like California's AB 5 or the federal Pro Act is against freedom and Rights to free assembly. They are the opposite.

See? You disagreed with State's Rights by inferring the Feds needed to step in and force Michigan citizens to do what you wanted, which is to abolish unions. I disagree.

If Michigan wants to collapse their economy with all-powerful unions, that's on them. OTOH, if Michigan turns into a fair state where the rights of employees and employers alike are protected, then I think they'd do well compared to a shithole RW state with lowly paid workers and no benefits.

Just say 'No!' to tyranny

Those are good ones.

As the wise man said, "We get the government we deserve". Every person in office was elected to office. We, the People, do it to ourselves.

Every parable has an equal and opposite parable.

I do not accept the blame for a corrupt distorted oligarchy.
If only the vote actually had the power you give it.

^^^ Another JPP member disgruntled with democracy. What would you prefer? A viking king?

The fact you don't understand how democracies work is average for JPP members....sad to say.
