Roe V Wade has been overturned.

The decision was not well written. I don't even disagree with that. That being said there was an opening for the Court to rectify that and leave the right intact. Ultimately, that's just an excuse for what is happening here. White men are seizing power in this country and bringing women and minorities to heel, and those that could stop this lack the courage and the understanding of what needs to be done. Democrats are too interested being polite and not interested enough in kicking these guys in the nuts.

I would argue the actions of the political parties is separate from the argument over the constitutionality of R v W. As far as the political parties in Congress, generally the bills they create around abortion they know will never pass and are used as red meat for the base. Could the two parties work together and come up something enough people can agree upon? It would be very tough but possibly doable. Polling shows there’s nuance in the abortion debate. Not everyone thinks there should be no abortion or everyone should have the right up to nine months.

Among those likely to do so is Florida, the research organization, which supports reproductive rights, says."

The right of people to control their own bodies should not be subject to a vote or to elected legislators.

Why do you believe 100% innocent, little girls in the womb have no rights over their own bodies? They want to live.

Guns are specifically protected in the federal constitution.

apples and oranges kitten...

Gun rights are not 100% unrestricted despite the federal constitution. District of Columbia v. Heller. "It also stated that the right to bear arms is not unlimited and that guns and gun ownership would continue to be regulated."
