No, but I will point out that you're an idiot, idiot! It's the Ho Chi Minh trail ffs!!

Hồ Chí Minh spent some time in Thailand and learnt Thai apparently. Very clever man and was reputed to be able to speak 28 languages. My daughter in law's family in Saigon had little reason to think highly of him though, reviled would be closer to the truth.

These are the parties Zelensky banned:

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to ban the activity of Opposition Party — For Life, Shariy Party, Nashi, Opposition Bloc, Left Opposition, Union of Left Forces, State, Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialists Party and Volodymyr Saldo Bloc, Zelensky said.

Shariy Party, or Party of Shariy is a libertarian ideology party and is pro-Russia / Putin

Nashi is a neo-Nazi political party composed mostly of younger men that exists across much of the ex-Soviet Union. It has for nearly two decades advocated for what amounts to establishment of a fascist state comprised of most of Eastern Europe.

Opposition Bloc is a pro-Russian political party that has a tiny following in Ukraine.

Left Opposition is a miniscule party of Trotskyites and other really radical Leftists of no particular importance.

Union of Left Forces is another neo-Nazi /fascist party that wants "democratic socialism." It is quite nationalist and anti-Russian.

Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine is another radical, Socialist, Left-wing party that is anti-NATO, anti-Russian, and represents about 1 to 2% of the vote in Ukraine.

Socialist Party of Ukraine is mainly comprised of old Communists who want a return of Communism, not necessarily as the Soviet Union. They are not pro-Russian, but rather pro-Communist.

Volodymyr Saldo Bloc is a group of persons who back Zelensky's main rival to the presidency of Ukraine. This group is definitely not pro-Russian, but anti-Zelensky believing their candidate is better fit for office.

So, it seems on the whole, that Zelensky isn't banning pro-Russian political groups, but rather groups he sees as a threat to his continued occupation of the Presidency.

Every party Zalensky banned were parties co-opted by Russian Nazis.

Very informative post...I LIKE IT!!!

And your links to unbiased, factual proof of this is/are...?

The fact that anything posted by Conservatives on JPP is Russian propaganda?

Russia Steps Up Propaganda War Amid Tensions With Ukraine
In the months since the Russian troop buildup began, Moscow and its online army of allies have pushed out old arguments about western Ukrainians being aligned with Nazism, falsely accused the United States of using proxy forces to plot a chemical attack and claimed that Russia’s planned military operations were intended to protect ethnic Russians or pre-empt action by NATO, according to researchers.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/25/us/politics/russia-ukraine-propaganda-disinformation.html

The State Department last week also published two fact sheets debunking false Russian narratives, while the Department of Homeland Security has issued alerts warning of possible Russian cyberattacks against U.S. companies and infrastructure.
https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...ssian-disinformation-in-bid-to-defend-ukraine

Among those false Russian narratives that were debunked were the Kremlin-backed fascist political parties Zelensky eventually banned for spreading the same Russian disinformation DHS has been warning about since January.

But go ahead and trust Conservatives because that has totally worked out for everyone before...sucker.

NEITHER of your links provide ANY factual proof/evidence from unbiased sources to back up your post: 'Every party Zalensky banned were parties co-opted by Russian Nazis.'

And next time - please be more specific.
I have better things to do then read through ENTIRE articles that you post just to find specific information....that is not even there (btw).
Ever hear of a 'quote'?

Since you obviously have NO unbiased, factual evidence to back up your post...we are done here.

Good day.

Who else co-opted them?

And next time - please be more specific.

I was plenty specific, you just didn't like the answer you got because you're a lazy piece of shit trash person.

have better things to do then read through ENTIRE articles that you post just to find specific information

I simply don't believe you have better things to do than pop off about shit you know nothing about on an anonymous message board.

I take the time to read your trash, the least you could do is put in a modicum of effort.

The fact that you don't just confirms how fucking lazy and entitled you are, and why I won't show you any respect.

Ever hear of a 'quote'?

So you whined for me to post links and then when I do, you whine that you can't be expected to read them.

So what fucking good are you, then?

Nobody "co opted" the parties Zelensky banned. He took the opportunity to eliminate much, if not all, of his political opposition to remaining in power. Yes, some but nowhere near all of the parties banned are pro-Russian. Most are Leftist to radical Leftist parties that oppose Zelensky first and foremost. Several are very nationalist and even anti-Russian. That doesn't change that they oppose Zelensky and have well before this war started.

Thanks for the research

elensky also announced the shutting down of all other TV channels in the country and merging them with the national TV. He claimed that the move will help implement a “unified information policy” under martial law. Ukraine has already banned the broadcast of Russian TV channels.

The 11 political parties banned include Opposition Platform for Life, which has 39 seats in the 450-seat Ukrainian parliament. Among the other parties banned are the Party of Sharity, Nashi (Ours) Party, Left Opposition, Union of Left Forces, Socialist parties. Several of these are left-wing parties and have been opposed to Ukrainian membership of NATO and the European Union (EU).

Following the announcement of the ban, Opposition Platform for Life called the move “illegal” and vowed to challenge it in court. It also asked activists and office bearers to continue working, adding that “instead of political dialogue and attempts to search for compromise and ways to unite the country, the authorities are relying on raiding, intimidation, repression and reprisals against their opponents.”

I gave a short description of each of these back on page 1 or 2 of the thread too.
