That is a simplistic explanation. I know people (and have read about others) who swore he would never move but that was his only option. He now has more American employees because he has been able to hire more sales reps and office people at his place of business.

That foreign labor would still be unprotected but would have no jobs. Some of those younger workers make more than their parents ever did and now support the family because their pay is higher than other jobs in the area.

Consumers usually have no knowledge of such practices, but they do know where their products are made and the quality and price. A low income family who buys their children's clothes at Wal-Mart benefit more than if they were forced to buy higher priced American goods that primarily benefit the owners of those businesses to the detriment of the children. That is using government coercion to benefit the wealthy.

Bullshit , they want to move oversees either to make their product or just put their headquarters someplace else for a tax dodge, then screw the bastards , tell them to not let the door hit them in the ass when they leave and take away the American market from these corporate pigs. Also put these CEOs on the American shit list and have them get their ass out of this country also. That should stop every one of them from leaving. Your idea is stupid they deserve nothing they owe this country everything.

Then tariffs should be slapped on the products they sell in the US.

America has everything needed to make everything we need here without relying on anyone else, period.

Except perhaps a generation of the youngest should-be "workers" that leftists have brainwashed and can't be counted on to provide labor because they feel entitled to things they are not.

Gore actually won the 2000 presidential election. However, the corrupt governor of the State of Florida cheated the election in favor of his brother.

The way that was done was multiplied 7x across states with Democrat governors in 2020.

Taxes are not oppression (unless they are too high). The oppression is government collusion with corporations to keep prices high by limiting any foreign competition. A poor family cannot purchase lower priced items from a discount store because government protects the higher priced items by limiting competition.

What would you tax? The products entering the U. S.? Who pays this tax?
