Kids can still pray in school and Monuments such as the ten commandments that have been in place for years should be protected. What issue do you have with a Cross on a hill, would you take blood donated to the red cross, I mean it has cross right in the name.
Marriage is a legal and binding contract controlled by governments. Get a divorce and the judge will teach you that. Marriage entails rights and breaks that the married get that single people do not. The courts try to make sure kids are taken care of in a divorce. There is no religion in that.
Kids have always been able to pray whenever they wanted to. We just do not have to stop the class so they can make a show of their "religiosity". If god is omnipresent, you can pray in your closet.

Pray when you want, just do not expect classes to stop while you do it. They make sporting events into "let's watch me pray" moments. Pray before you show up and let the game begin.
