Florida's current surge is approaching the case numbers of the January 2021 surge. The January surge resulted in February deaths of over 200 for several days. The treatments haven't changed that much since February.

Very true...but between May 2020 and January 2021, treatments most definitely did change...and while I absolutely agree that the case count will be similar, I just don't think it's going to translate to as many deaths.

I could be wrong, of course, and next week, FL could be topping 200 deaths a day...

There are three types of random numbers:
randR, or the type of random number generated by a single die.

Random numbers mathematics is a branch of mathematics, using the Full Discrete Domain (also called the Full Boolean Domain).
They are transcribed into the Real Math Domain (the one you learned in high school) in the branches of probability math, and statistical math. Importing across Domains removes the ability to predict that is inherent in mathematics.

Random numbers are not data.

In the first couple months.

Since then, doctors have been able to treat COVID better, which makes FL's death count even worse because we know what we can do to stop transmission, but are just choosing not to for the sake of ego.

Doesn't really matter what you think about NY and NJ because today, the deaths are happening in FL and enough of those deaths is going to make the difference in next year's elections.

So in a way, I'm glad you're spreading misinformation about COVID...with a little luck, your message could reach someone who will end up contracting COVID and dying, preventing them from casting a ballot next year.

So then why is Florida peaking with COVID again, for a fourth time in 15 months if what happened in NY was so terrible?

Why did Florida replicate what happened in NY? Didn't they learn any lessons?

Florida leads the nation in new infections...and it doesn't even report the positivity rate anymore because it's so high.

Deaths are going to be lower because we have 15 months of experience dealing with COVID, so that's not anything to celebrate.

And the percentage of people getting the covid vaccination does not fit any of these definitions. Therefore, they are not random numbers.
