Except I don't think there will be as many deaths because doctors are much better at treating COVID today than they were back in 2020...the monoclonal antibody treatment, that Trump got instead of HCQ, seems to be really effective at preventing COVID from developing into the most serious and fatal condition in most patients.
So we'll definitely see fewer deaths, but we'll still see deaths.
Florida's current surge is approaching the case numbers of the January 2021 surge. The January surge resulted in February deaths of over 200 for several days. The treatments haven't changed that much since February.
