It's a Conservative plague now

Racism. Argument from randU fallacy. There is no such thing as a variant of covid19.

It is called delta. Keep up.

Into the Night:

“Currently, it looks like GA is going to choose Republican electors.
AZ looks like it might also, but seems to be further away from actually choosing.”

“Only religions use supporting evidence. Science doesn't.”

“The phrase “freedom of speech” does not appear in the Constitution”

Trump’s lawsuit does not claim social media providers are “state actors”

These Democrats have committed a felony. (Texas Dems leaving state).

In one day last week, there were 15,000 new infections in FL, which is as high as it's ever been.

and an average of fewer than 40 deaths a day.....as I recall, Cuomo was racking up more than that in a single nursing home.......what was it "high as its ever been" for NY......oh yeah, they peaked at just over a thousand a day didn't they......

and before you make the mistake of saying "that was then", NY's seven day average death rate was still higher than FL as recently as May.......

Seriously, I want more of those migrants coming into the country for no other reason than to spread COVID to unvaccinated Conservatives.

Let's bring in as many migrants as we can, spread them all over the country, and infect and kill those Conservatives who refused the vaccine.

I don't know why anyone thinks it's a bad thing.

As GOP supporters die of Covid, the party remains split in its vaccination message
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/po...ty-remains-split-its-vaccine-message-n1274619

The GOP is a death cult.

CDC says roughly 4,100 people have been hospitalized or died with Covid breakthrough infections after vaccination

That was a month ago

and an average of fewer than 40 deaths a day.

Am I supposed to be impressed? That's 280 dead a week, 1,120 a month.

The only reason the death rate is that low is because we've gotten better at treating COVID with things like the monoclonol antibodies, which is the treatment Trump got instead of HCQ.

About the same % of nursing home deaths in TX (20%) is the same as NY (25%), the difference being that NY's deaths happened in the first couple months while TX's deaths have happened over the last 12 months.

So again, am I supposed to be impressed that over 12 months, you lost the same number of people in nursing homes than NY did in 2?

hat was it "high as its ever been" for NY.

NY peaked in May 2020...TX and FL are currently peaking AGAIN for a fourth time in 15 months.

false equivalency.......we've already proved that FL's current climax is insignificant compared to NY's surge in May, 2020 and still lower than NY's surge in May, 2021.....

and worldhealthmeters show two surges in deaths for Florida......August of 20 and March of 21......

we've already proved that FL's current climax is insignificant compared to NY's surge in May, 2020

Well in May 2020 we didn't have monoclonal antibody treatment, so that's why FL's current death rate isn't as high as NY's was 14 months ago.

The point is that from May 2020, when NY got its shit together, to July 2021, FL lost about the same number of people NY did in 2 months...but NY didn't lose the same number of people FL did from May 2020 - July 2021.

So how come even 14 months after what happened in NY, FL is still leading the nation in COVID, getting as many new cases per day as they had during the worst peaks of 2020?

You sure about that? Because NY's death rate looks flat while FL's is most definitely not.

its a matter of scale.....Florida's numbers are much lower than NY so they use a larger scale.......just hover your mouse over the day and read the numbers.......assuming you can read......

In May of 2021, NY saw a surge in cases that never exceeded 10,000 in any single day. Florida is currently seeing over 13,000 a day. Florida's population is approximately 10% more than NY but Florida is seeing over 30% more cases than NY did in its May 2021 surge meaning it can not be lower than NY's surge if one uses any actual math.

Surges in deaths follow about 2-3 weeks the surge in cases. Florida is still on the upswing in cases. If this surge follows the last 2 surges in 2-3 weeks we should be seeing over 200 deaths a day in Florida from Covid.

they aren't.......dimwitted lib'ruls like you distort the numbers.......we've been over this many times and have proven over and over that Florida's death rate is insignificant compared to NY, but you still come back and lie about it all over again........

Ummm, scale has nothing to do with it...

FL's death count looks like a hill, whereas NY's looks to have two plateaus.

What that means is that NY took mitigation efforts to flatten the curve, then when those mitigation efforts were removed, the death count jumped before plateauing again.

Whereas FL has never flattened their curve.

Except I don't think there will be as many deaths because doctors are much better at treating COVID today than they were back in 2020...the monoclonal antibody treatment, that Trump got instead of HCQ, seems to be really effective at preventing COVID from developing into the most serious and fatal condition in most patients.

So we'll definitely see fewer deaths, but we'll still see deaths.

they aren't.

They are.

About a quarter of all new cases of COVID are in Florida right now.

dimwitted lib'ruls like you distort the numbers.

You are distorting the numbers here by myopically focusing your comparison on NY from solely Apr-May 2020, whereas I'm looking at NY from Apr 2020 - July 2021.

You and I both know that most of NY's deaths happened in those first two months, which makes it even more frustrating that every other state saw what happened in NY from Apr-May 2020 and were like, "yeah give me some of THAT".

Since May 2020, NY hasn't led the nation in anything COVID-related.

But FL most definitely has.

we've been over this many times and have proven over and over that Florida's death rate is insignificant compared to NY, but you still come back and lie about it all over again........

FL's death rate since May 2020 is the HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY.

NY's death rate since May 2020 is among the LOWEST IN THE COUNTRY.

How come FL saw what happened in NY and didn't do anything to protect its people?

It's called developing a herd immunity. NY has it now. Florida is getting it.

You get herd immunity by vaccinating. NY is vaccinated to a far greater extent than Florida. It's very likely that the vast majority of unvaxxed will get Covid in the next 2-3 months. Many will die. You know who won't die? People who are vaccinated. I know that's too much for you to grasp though. Florida is basically a giant virus cloud now.
