If the USAF Vet deserved to be shot at the capitol, then what about this kid?

As I heard that issue addressed this morning on Court TV by some LEO affiliated person... there was more than one agency there at the time and the guys inside the enclosure the rioters breached may not have been in communication with the SWAT team who were directly behind the protesters.

Possibly different radio frequencies and possibly didn't know the SWAT team was there.

Also, they had no idea who she was or what kind of weapon or explosive device she might have been carrying or what her intentions were.

Their job was to protect that area and that is what they did.

She should have known better than to attempt what she was attempting to do.

Do you feel the tamir rice shooting then was justified?

many here don't.

Thank you for that angle I concede she got her head through the window, that does not mean it was ethical to shoot an unarmed protestor.

you all used to rail about cops shooting unarmed victims.

what happened?

The mob was armed. Period. They had already at this point beaten a cop to death.

Got it

Now cops can shoot anyone...because they "MAY" have a bomb! Cool that includes anyone with a backpack at a protest

Stop being willfully obtuse.

I'm trying to engage you in an intelligent conversation.

The place those cops were in charge of protecting was not some city street or a park.

It was the offices of the US Congress and the elected officials inside.

Those offices and their occupants get a higher level of protection because of what they represent.... the will of the people of the United States of America who elected them.

She of all people, should have understood that.

He had a fucking stroke

As I recall, he was rather large for his age, he had a pellet gun that could have been real as far as the cop knew, and it appeared as though he might be attempting pull it out and possibly use it.

Tragic accident but not murder, IMO.

Whether it was justified or unjustified is a determination the public is not qualified to make because we weren't there.

But I'm reasonably convinced it was an honest mistake.

I agree with you.

What I don't agree with are people saying this woman deserved to be shot and the cop who shot her acted differently than all the other LEOS there it was so not expected noned of them also opened fire. this was an assassination.

I have heard that he was hit on the head with a fire extinguisher.

Answer what, you stupid fuck?

She traveled clear across the country to participate in sedition and got her ass shot and killed.

Tragic. For her. For the cop who shot her.

Move on, motherfucker.

Whats the title of this thread you well worn cunt?

Why wont you comment on the actual topic?

Deserve is not the right word, but she did put herself in the situation by doing something she should not have been doing.

And again... the cops behind that partition the rioters breached were there to protect Congress members from exactly the sort of thing that was occurring.

How was the cop who shot her supposed to know what she was carrying in her backpack or what her intentions were?

She could have had a bomb for all he knew.

He did is job.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I just did, halfwit.

Your half-assed attempts at whataboutism are pathetic.

Move on, motherfucker. She's dead and there will be an investigation.

Wanna bet on the outcome?

yes that one guy should be prosecuted.

your article says "one guy"

That they know of. Is a fire extinguisher a weapon? How about a flagpole? Lead pipe? IED? The mob was armed. I guarantee more than one of them had a gun, but there is no way of knowing. How do think all that damage was done? Try to be serious for one second.
