If masks and other government policies work, how do you explain this?

does the fact Obama DOUBLED the national debt bring any percentages to mind?......

He didn't. The House added to the debt, and also significantly raised M2 (printed money without corresponding increase in wealth, causing inflation). Presidents to not have authorization to initiate spending bills.

In deaths it's Progressive New Jersey, followed by New York, and that bastion of Leftism, Massachusetts.

except he did not. why do you think he did? here are some facts-
Learn what the word 'fact' means.
first, let's look at what trump has done, despite being left an economy in great shape-
The economy wasn't in good shape until Trump came along and got government out of the way of it.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Republican candidate Donald Trump promised he would eliminate the nation’s debt in eight years.
Lie. He never made any such promise, not could he do any such thing.
1 Instead, his budget estimates showed that he would actually add at least $8.3 trillion, increasing the U.S. debt to $28.5 trillion by 2025.2
He didn't. The House did. Democrats.
However, the national debt may reach that figure much sooner.
Blame the House. They are the only ones that can add to the debt.
When President Trump took office in January 2017, the national debt stood at $19.9 trillion. In October 2020, the national debt reached a new high of $27 trillion.
Blame the House. Trump has no authority to increase the debt or to reduce it.
Currently, the federal debt is 128% of the GDP.
Trump has overseen the fastest increase in the debt of any president—almost 36% from 2017 to 2020. Trump has not fulfilled his campaign promise to cut the debt. Instead, he's done the opposite.
Trump never promised to cut the debt. Only the House can do that.
now for obama, compared to reagan and gomer bush and others-
They were never representatives in the House.
What's the best way to determine how much each president has contributed to our nation's nearly $27 trillion in U.S. debt?
Look at the Constitution. President contributions is zero, zip, nada, nan. Presidents do not add to the debt.
The most popular ways to do so involve comparing the debt level from when a president enters office to the debt level when they leave, and comparing the debt as a percentage of economic output, which takes into account the size of the economy at the time the administration accumulated the debt.
Fakery. Only the House has authority to add to the debt.
Top Five Debt Contributors by Percentage
Franklin D. Roosevelt (1933-1945): President Roosevelt had the largest percentage increase to the debt. Although he only added $236 billion, this was a nearly 1,050% increase from the $22.5 billion debt level left by President Herbert Hoover. The Great Depression and the New Deal contributed to FDR's yearly deficits,
WRONG. FDR caused the Great Depression. The New Deal was largely unconstitutional.
but the biggest cost was World War II: It added $186.3 billion to the debt between 1942 and 1945.4
Nope. The House added to the debt. It is the only thing that can.
Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921): President Wilson was the second-largest contributor to the debt, percentage-wise. He added $21 billion, which was a 724% increase over the $2.9 billion debt of his predecessor. World War I contributed to the deficits that raised the national debt.5
Nope. Presidents do not add to the debt. The House does.
Ronald Reagan (1981-1989): President Reagan increased the debt by $1.85 trillion, or by 186%. Reagan's brand of supply-side economics didn't grow the economy enough to offset the lost revenue from its tax cuts.
Nope. Reagan was never a representative in the House.
George W. Bush (2001-2009): President Bush added $6.1 trillion, or a 101% increase, putting him in fourth.
Bush was never a representative in the House.
Barack Obama (2009-2017): Under President Obama, the national debt grew the most dollar-wise ($8.6 trillion) but was fifth in terms of percentage: 74%. Obama fought the Great Recession with an $831 billion economic stimulus package and added $858 billion through tax cuts.7 8
Obama increased taxes. He didn't cut them.

Got any scientific evidence to support these amazing conflations, old man?

Science isn't evidence. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. There is no such thing as 'scientific evidence'. There is only 'evidence'. Evidence is not a proof.

Masks do not stop any virus. This isn't about science, it's about an engineering standard. Masks are about as effective as a tea strainer used as a spoon when it comes to a virus.

that is insane, boy. you cannot be that stupid.
He is. He doesn't fathom that the exhaled virus is attached to larger fluid molecules that are often trapped by a mask and whose
propagation is reduced. He is that stupid. They all are. All Republicans are painfully and indefatigably dense, as a character trait,
state of being and in practice in real time every waking moment. They are so dumb from the frontal cortex to the spine that
they often forget to breathe.

You failed to link a single peer-reviewed study to support your contention.

Posting "quotes" and URLs to homepages is not scientific evidence.

Science does not use consensus. It does not have 'peer review'. There is no elite voting bloc in science. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. Nothing more. Nothing less. Science is not evidence. There is no such thing as 'scientific evidence'.

I wear my mask, keep my distance and wash my hands, but mostly I stay home.

You as a professed Christian should think of others and do no harm.

I try to think of others as a humanist.

I do not have 'the plague'. I cannot infect anyone. I do not need to wear a mask. They are completely ineffective against viruses anyway. If you wear a mask in the presence of someone infected, even if you are BOTH wearing masks, you could easily get infected. The masks make NO difference at all.

How about Joe Blow restaurant owner in NYC trying to make a living and pay his rent and provide for his employees? Is HE essential? How about his employees?

EVERY worker is essential, and EVERY business is essential. YOU don't get to pick winners and losers...

What's even funnier is that he somehow things that everyone depends on SOTC exports as 'essential'.

I stay home, that way, I know I’m protected and as you have been told, it’s not only wear your mask, but keep your distance and wash your hands!

I care about others, that is why I urge them to do those three things. I don’t like to see humans suffer and I feel empathy for those poor medical workers who are overworked physically and emotionally. I try to do no harm.

Agoraphobia.

I will do as the evidence dictates. Unfortunately, there is no evidence that I can find that proves that masks stop the spread of the Chinese disease.

Since evidence is not a proof, that's not surprising.
However, the N95 specification says it all. Masks are completely ineffective against viruses.
