By summer, NY led the nation in reducing transmission.

Since the fall, it has spiked again - as it has everywhere. And not surprisingly in one of American's most densely populated and traveled areas.

But there is no causality from the initial decision on nursing homes. You would have needed continuity to bolster that argument.

I agree with the last statement. That was Cuomo's initial mistake and a huge one. He later rescinded the order and it isn't happening there now in this latest spike. On the other hand, this latest spike came despite widespread mask use and partial lockdowns and business closures and restrictions. Seems these are not having much impact on the spread of this contagion.
It certainly makes a powerful argument for just opening the economy back up and pushing for vaccinations instead.

I know for one, once I have taken the vaccine, no more masks for me even as a courtesy. It's done and over as far as I'm concerned.

While a significant portion of the wealthy--not all--are totally immoral corporate oligarchs, they are too few in number to accomplish much harm with just their own paltry number of actual votes.
It is the oppressed poor, just the ones who have devolved from human to trumpanzee status biogenetically, that enable the oligarchs to exploit them.
They vote in perfect opposition to their own best interests because it's worth remaining in the run-down doublewides in order to stick it to the libs.
We call them out on their racism, xenophobia, misogyny, religious bigotry, and anti-intellectualism, so they "get even" by voting themselves into continued exploitation.
This is the level of mental firepower with which we're dealing.
This is why red states must survive on blue state tax money, as they continually try to bite the hands that feed them.

This is why I favor partition.
Give them the chance to do it their way--but by themselves.
They will create a fourth world for themselves that third world notions can look down upon.
Meanwhile, the rest of us can keep the oligarchs under reasonable control with our own votes.

I'm curious on an unrelated note. Did you graduate the 8th grade or is it you just went to a crappy high school? Your writing style is for crap. No punctuation. No structure. Many of the sentences lack proper structure and some aren't even complete sentences really. At least, they don't make sense so I take them that way.

It's this, among other things in your rant that has me believing you haven't got a clue about anything, and certainly don't have any actual facts or reasoned arguments to back up what you say. That's why I'm curious about how much lack of an education you have.

I've taken Pyschology courses in college, looking to be an Art Therapist.

I've also been in mental health programs for PTSD treatments.

I'm pretty well versed in this subject.
