And I don't know what you are referring to about the "immediate demise" but the best way to kill a bill in Congress is to do nothing with it as is being done with HR 45.

Yes the world was a much more peaceful time in the middle ages before guns were invented. Of course the real men used swords and halberds to hack each other up instead of martial arts but I'm sure next time it would be different.
