Rudy is So Positive (for COVID)

I'm deeply concerned Rudy infected the latest Republican heroine: Mellissa Carone.

She's young, only 33ish but young people have died or become very ill with long recoveries. Melania still hasn't fully recovered from COVID and Trump's kids seem to be hiding in the background for some reason.

Rootin' Tootin' Rudy is old and already lived a long life. He's also disgraced himself so it's not a big loss if he croaks.

I won't waste any tears, that's for sure!

Correct about Karma, son. Yes, but the oldest members of this forum are the nutjobs like Matt/Teflon Don, Evmetro, Expresslane, etc. Rudy himself is 76.

COVID doesn't discriminate by party, only stupidity and age. When the hospitals start maxing out over the next week or two, the death rate will increase. Mostly among the elderly due to triage.

And that isn't taking into consideration people with other problems who likely would have lived had they been able to receive timely care.

I sure hope he dies. Sweet justice.

True. Trump didn't care when Herman Cain died, probably because Cain was black. I doubt they'll care much if Rudy dies, but it would certainly hamper Trump's attempts to fake fraud accounts in court. Not many other lawyers seem interested in perjuring themselves for money and trusting that Trump will pardon them afterward.

OTOH, it might be better if Rudy lives. Death = out of sight, out of mind. Look at Herman Cain.

Better if Rudy spends the left of his life coughing up phlegm and blood, permanently attached to an O2 machine and have to use a wheelchair because he's too weak to walk. He would wear diapers for convenience so those farting noises in court would be him shitting himself. Rudy would become a living reminder of Trump's Blunder, Trump's mishandling of the 2020 COVID pandemic for profit.

At least last week surpassed cardiac diseases for killing power.

That's a very sad statistic. The only bright spot is that the more people who die, about half a million by Spring, the more likely every family in America will be touched thus persuading more Americans to stop denying COVID is a hoax.

FWIW, most Trump supporters are anti-science (and anti-common sense ha-ha!). I've been doing my best to convince these anti-science freaks that the new vaccine was actually developed by Liberal atheists and that one side effect is to actually become a liberal atheist. "Take it if you don't care about suddenly hating God and loving Hillary", is a standard line. It's a behavioral experiment in sociology and a humane way to eliminate dummies from the population.

Hopefully, your entire family will succumb to it. That would be a good way to eliminate a lot of dummies from the population and prevent future dummies from being produced.

Agreed. It's akin to taking someone who was hit by a car and then shooting them in the gut. The Trumpeteers will say "The truck killed them!" but those with common sense know the victim probably would have survived one or the other but not both.

I'm pretty sure that most of us at this point know someone who has had COVID, and/or who has died from it.

Not me, but my family, both my wife's and mine, live scattered across suburbia and rural areas. Most are moderately liberal with the exception being my Army brother and myself. All have accepted the common sense strategem of avoiding infection by COVID, but that's not a guarantee. Just a protective layer like body armor.

Even so, we do have a handful of family members at risk due to illness and/or age. I'm not counting my 63 year old wife or myself.

I'm sure you've also noticed that one of the many denier memes they're promoting now is that it's "not fair" to count a death from the virus as a death from the virus if the deceased person had an underlying condition. According to this bizarre reasoning, the cause of death should be the underlying condition and not the virus that just took advantage of it.

IOW if I get the virus and die, it's the fault of the gout that occasionally comes to visit, not COVID.
