The key there is “was,” today, under the Governor’s guidance, NY is gradually opening up by design with numbers dramatically decreasing, while Florida, with the Governor out to please Trump, opened up quickly and is now seeing dramatic increases in numbers

Cuomo is actually considering a quarantine for all travelers coming in from Florida, which would be a tough blow for the snowbirds and Canadians

And yes, hospitalizations aren't overwhelming the system. Yet. It's been a week since this spike started. It's only a matter of time.

This whole mask thing is sublime. Cases are exploding, both in this state, and in Jacksonville where I live. And yet somehow mask wearing is not macho enough for the Trumptards. It's like they have a death wish. And they want to take the rest of us with them. I have a kid who works at Target. For the first time today he seemed genuinely worried. Three positive tests for people who are regularly at the store. But still, no mandatory mask wearing. Trump has now made being a moron a badge of honor.

Old news. We always knew there would be more cases reported once more testing got under way. Majority recover or never knew they even had it.
It's no big deal for riots and protests, so move on with your life already.

You need to de-stress or something. For months we all knew that more testing = more results...more cases...positive AND negative. Most recover.
