If the Senate allows a fair trial...

Hello Darth,

Well, what if it turns out the Bidens were engaged in corruption?

Wouldn’t that justify Trump’s *request* to Zelensky?

Are democrats sure they want this lol?

If the President had information about some Americans which were doing crimes in Ukraine, he would demand action, not ask for it as a favor.

Honestly, Republican willingness to believe in the flimsiest of propaganda is astounding.

Fighting crime is not done as a favor. It is done as a duty.

I was dead-set AGAINST impeachment earlier, Darth. I figured it to be a net negative for the people I favor in office. But at some point I realized that Trump HAS TO BE impeached...or we might as well rip up the Constitution.

I think the impetus for impeachment is MUCH more complicated and reasonable than you suppose.

Ask Carter Page about having the constitution ripped up, Frank.

We need a fairl trial, You do not think the facts should all become public? Do you want the facts hidden?

Fair to whom GayRod? How do you define fair?

I thought you already had all of the facts? Are you saying that the democrat party is going to vote on impeachment without having all of the facts? That seems sorta odd doesn't it? Why would Nadler vote articles out of the judiciary committee without all of the facts?

I thought all of the facts were out? I thought we know all we need to know?

Democrats in the House were doing their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution. Republicans were acting in a shamefully partisan manner.

you were always for impeachment, stop lying

Hello Darth,

Democrats in the House were doing their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution. Republicans were acting in a shamefully partisan manner.
No, the House did not uphold the Constitution and the Senate will put an end to this circus.

Count on it, Snowflake.

Hello dukkha,

so where are those crimes in the impeachment articles? abuse of power isn't a crime..

If you want an impeachment for real reasons, then hold hearing designed to expose them.
If all you care about is 2020 and "Trump was impeached" then live with the results

Every day, when Trump picks up his phone to tweet more hatred, that is a crime against humanity.

Even Republicans and his own stiff tried to get him to stop tweeting when he took office.

Everybody knew it was wrong.

Even Trump knew it and agreed to stop.

He just couldn't, and there was nobody to tell him no.

His transgressions have only increased since then until now he is being impeached.

Republicans are so conned they have gone from accepting his nasty tweets to accepting abuse of power and obstruction.

The shame is on Republicans. History will not paint this era well.

That there was some crime in the asking IS propaganda.

Trump is president. He can ask another foreign leader for a favor for the first thing that pops into his head and it’s not a crime. Linking the aid to the favor is what the Schiff Show was about and they failed to establish it.

Zelensky ignored the *request*, twice denied there was any pressure...all the facts are out now.

If Democrats want to take that to the Senate, go for it lol.

Live testimony from all the relevant witnesses would result in a fair trial.

Hello dukkha,

lol read the Constitution! it's right there. "high crimes and misdemeanors"

Nixion's Abuse of Power Article had CRIMES listed under it as subsections -real crime like Obstruction of Justice
and not "Obstruction of Congress" which SCOTUS just destroyed by hearing Trump's appeal.

no it's not. that is considered "maladministration" ( Madison)
Bribery, extortion, treason,- those are crimes -do you see any crimes listed in the Articles??

Yes.

Trump has many of the facts bottled up.

You know that.

So, free speech is now a crime against humanity, Snowflake.

Using your logic, you are committing crimes against humanity when you post your hatred for President Trump.

Please cease your crimes against humanity.

Hello christiefan915,

I'm not following. Repubs in Congress could have started an investigation on HB and JB at any time, couldn't they? Especially when they were in the majority.

He had not declared his candidacy.

All of this began after Biden entered the race.

Hello Darth,

Democrats in the House were doing their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution. Republicans were acting in a shamefully partisan manner.

Even as Democrats are passed articles through the judiciary committee via straight party line vote lol.

That’s normally a stop sign. Even Pelosi said so. Why did democrats run it?

Why were the Democrats afraid of allowing the Republicans to have their own witnesses to expose the facts?
