Scandinavian countries have fewer in population than most American states. Their tax rates are higher, their wait times for healthcare are longer, & most provide private health insurance opportunities where citizens of higher economical means get quicker & better care through their private insurance plans, proving that capitalism beats the hell out of socialism every day of the week. Also Scandinavian nations pay a tiny fraction of their GDP for national defense making their socialism more affordable. They depend on NATO for their national defense where AMERICA is the far, far greater contributor in every part of the global defense system both economically & militarily.
If universal healthcare is the great system that lefties say it is, how come NO state in America has instituted it, as would actually be constitutional as opposed to an unconstitutional system imposed on America by the federal government that has absolutely NO constitutional authority? I know why, because NO state can afford it & some know it sucks!
Why would lefties get so upset about identifying socialism as socialism, when y’all lefties deny there’s such a thing as socialism or anything in America is socialist?
The lowest level mentality I’m seeing in America these days is when I turn on CNN & MSNBC, or when I’m informed by FOX about the fascist communist in our universities denying the right to speak to conservative voices. Or the Democrat politicians who attempt to slander & criminalize our President and call for the “kicking” of his supporters. Or call for leftist supporters to harass our President’s supporters at restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations & anywhere they can be found.
If you truly believe that horseshit, then lobby your state government to institute it state wide. Two states have already considered that, researched it and found out it’s expensive beyond all ability to finance.

Social Security as a federal program has ZERO constitutional authority & can be, and so often is created more successfully by rational people who save and invest for their own future retirement, therefore proving that your socialist patch has ZERO necessity except for unconstitutional bribery by fed politicians to secure a block vote for their particular political party. Furthermore America’s states have the socialist authority to create such programs & thereby citizens have the freedom to vote with their feet and move to a state without such authoritarian anti-freedom force in effect.
Unions aren’t institutions of socialist force as long as they can’t mandate membership as most are & do unconstitutionally. Unions can be & often are a valuable collective guarantee and demand for such things as safety and wage equality to production. It’s only when they are allowed to force membership by government law that they become a socialist unnecessary patch to capitalism, otherwise they’re simply a free bargaining operation.

That's when corporations write favorable legislation for themselves that eliminate competition, make them & their crony politicians rich when they pass said legislation.
