Bernie is not a bad man. He just don't know how to pay for things that he would like to see.
I've said for years that Jr. College and trade schools should be an extension of public school and funded through local, County, and State funds.
That has been my thoughts since the Corporate world has belittled the High School Diploma and rendering it as worthless in today's job market!
But, Bernie's idea of sending people to Yale on the Federal Taxpayers dime is unrealistic.
The Corporate world has placed too much emphasis on academic study and not enough on job skills and certifications.
People who do not achieve 4 years of academic study deserve to work 40 hours a week and be paid more in wages than those keeping them under the poverty level.

Just look at 19th century America for examples of the great gaping holes in capitalism. Social Security is just one of those patches. Unions are another. As is much of the government regulation that Trump has been busily dismantling.

Social Security is a massive ponzi scheme that only the dumbest among us can believe is a good thing. It does nothing to provide for your security and merely buries taxpayers in debt.

You clearly have no understanding of much of anything. Medicare for all would merely turn the health insurance premiums that are already being paid into taxes. Those taxes would probably wind up being less than the premiums.

LIE and LAME. Medicare for all is a fraud that would derail our current medical system placing all the decisions in the hands of Washington. It would be a takeover of our current system and raise costs for EVERYONE while making care less efficient and less available.

Russia is a great country, with an incredible history, and a rich culture almost without peer in the world.
Any worldly and sophisticated person should or could want to visit Russia irrespective of whether Brezhnev, Yeltsin, or Putin are sitting in the Kremlin.
Remind yourself to never visit China because the commies are in power. I think you would be missing out on the experience of a lifetime though.

Well, I probably won't visit China. That said, people generally honeymoon to someplace romantic, like Italy, France, or the Bahamas.
I am not going to judge where people take their honeymoons.
A trip to Russia would be an adventure, and 1988 was the height of Glasnost under Gorbechev, and there were a lot of westerners who were keen to visit the USSR.
Trying to equate Bernie Sander's trip to Russia to his supposedly profound sympathy for Stalinism simply does not cut the mustard - and it could only be the product of a profoundly dishonest mind.
