So according to your poverty rate metric, a middle class family in CA whose combined income is $55K a year and whose child qualified for financial assistance at Cal State, is considered below the poverty rate.
Not "facts", just a way of you stretching the definition of poverty to suit your agenda.
In your metric, a family of four whose income is $55K a year is considered below the poverty rate because their child gets financial assistance at a state university.
Would you consider that family in poverty? Be honest.

Well that's progress because before you just said flatly that it was the poverty rate, which it wasn't.
That poverty rate is determined by a combination of income and state assistance programs for families not traditionally considered in poverty.
It's a metric that shows how much state assistance is necessary in order for a family to not live in poverty in CA...so it counts things like tuition breaks, MediCal, and other state assistance programs many Californians you wouldn't consider in poverty, as in poverty.
So really, that metric just shows how shitty wage growth has been.
His problem is simply that he's a lazy fatass who acts in bad faith.
He does it all the time; he tells half the story, he fudges numbers, he moves goalposts, then he plays dumb and obtuse afterward.
He is the only person who would vote for Howard Shultz...that's the kind of garbage person he is.

You are correct we liberals are devastated that Putin - I mean Drumpf - is president. We experienced the same sorrow when dubya was given the presidency by the supreme court conservatives. dubya's disastrous 8 years didn't condition us to accept a vile, disgusting, racist, misogynist piece of shit as president. dubya was bad but compared to drumpf he was Lincoln. The good news is that - despite a strong economy and low unemployment - the democrats took back the House and kicked out 40 pathetic miserable trump butt kissing republikkkans in the mid-terms. And watching drumpf cave in to Speaker Nancy Pelosi was wonderful and there will be many more cave ins until the 2020 election.
