Suicide and Trumpism

I notice too you ran from your trash talking on the Fed not hiking rates thread.

My point in that thread was that the Russia Tax Cut you support didn't deliver on the promises of growing the market you people made of it back in December 2017. So holding your feet to that fire, you screeched some incomprehensible nonsense about the Fed being to blame for 2018's poor market, and not the tax cuts that caused a sugar high in Q1 and Q2, and a sugar crash in Q3 and Q4. Now, we're right back to where we started...an entire year wasted because of your shitty tax policy.

I didn't run from that thread, you did.

You ran from it because you blamed the Fed not raising interest rates for the poor market, then you blamed the Fed raising rates for the poor market.

You talked in circles.

Nope. Once again you flat out lie. You have no idea what the Fed does and you lie.

Because government housing is a part of the discussion of affordable housing since that's literally what the government funded projects throughout the 40's, 50's and 60's were.

Yeesh.

You want affordable housing in California? Repeal Prop 13 and use the revenues (mostly from corporations and rich people) from that repeal to finance the construction of new units for people to live in.

My God...it's like...you're actively trying to be obtuse.

LOL, so you want to build a bunch of modern Cabrini Greens? Move out of the ‘50’s tough guy.

You have no idea what you are talking about or what the Fed does. None. It’s why you continually avoid it.

Don't Dunning-Kruger your way through this debate.

My point was always the same, you chose to invoke the Fed to explain why the market didn't grow at all in 2018. You think they had something to do with it, but all the earnings reports from Q3 and Q4 shit all over that thought. Just as I predicted in December 2017, we would see high earnings in Q1 and Q2 that wouldn't be matched in Q3 and Q4...so earnings didn't meet the same growth expectations in the second half of the year that they reached in the first half...so the market didn't grow because of the tax cuts causing a sugar high in Q1 and Q2.

That's got nothing to do with the Fed and everything to do with your shitty Russia Tax Cut.

You literally lie every post now. Show where I spoke about the Fed and 2018’s market performance

LOL, so you want to build a bunch of modern Cabrini Greens? Move out of the ‘50’s tough guy.

So...you bitch about California's lack of affordable housing, then you dismiss the empirically proven evidence showing that government funded affordable housing was successfully used by millions of people, including Howard Shultz who you lionize.

Then you try and pretend that I want to copy, brick-for-brick, what we did before when you know that's not the case or intent. The same principle we used to build affordable housing for millions of people in the 50's is applicable to the 2020's.

Problem: A lack of affordable housing
Solution: Government-funded and financed construction of affordable housing units.
Means: Repealing Prop 13 and using the revenue windfall to fund that construction

It's so simple, even my cat understands it...and he licks his own ass. So what's your excuse?

You have no idea what you are talking about or what the Fed does. None. It’s why you continually avoid it.

The Fed had nothing to do with soaring earnings in Q1 and Q2, nor did the Fed have anything to do with missing those earnings expectations in Q3 and Q4.

That was all the Russia Tax Cut.

Then what the fuck are we even talking about?

You want to blame the Fed for something...not sure what...then deny the empirical evidence showing the Fed's effect on the market in 2018 -the most recent data we can extrapolate- was negligible because the market grew and fell because of the diabetic shock of increased, after-tax earnings thanks to the tax cut. Earnings growth that couldn't be sustained the full year because the tax cut was a one-time thing.

Economics. Income. Wealth.

Look at the stats, though. Alaska is one of the wealthiest states (third in the nation for median household income). Utah and Wyoming are among the top third of wealthiest states. I'm not seeing a strong link there, are you?

Yes christie, there will be days when it is cloudy, less sun and cold. But cold does not MEAN it WILL be as she implied. You can also have a bright sun shiny day with no clouds and still have temps sub zero.

^ The bolded is not what she was talking about. It was about correlation between cloudiness and lower temps.

Effects of Cloud Cover on forecasted temperatures.

During the day, the earth is heated by the sun. If skies are clear, more heat reaches the earth's surface (as in the diagram below). This leads to warmer temperatures. However, if skies are cloudy, some of the sun's rays are reflected off the cloud droplets back into space. Therefore, less of the sun's energy is able to reach the earth's surface, which causes the earth to heat up more slowly. This leads to cooler temperatures.

Forecast Tip:
When forecasting daytime temperatures, if cloudy skies are expected, forecast lower temperatures than you would predict if clear skies were expected.

LMAO... ok christie. That is not what she said at all. But do go on pretending.

Basically, the more suicidally depressed people are in a state, the more likely people in the state are to approve of Trump.

This makes no sense. Depressed people vote for Trump, see the country turning around, and commit suicide? Nah, much more likely that triggered twinklepuffs are depressed that Trump won the election, and driven over the edge to suicide because he keeps winning

:yayaseesathreadban:
See? THIS hot mess was not a Trump supporter!

If you want to continue pretending she didn't say this, knock yourself out. "colder means more clouds and less sun"

Colder does not mean that. Colder CAN happen in that situation, but it doesn't always mean that. I know words are hard for you. Its ok... you have a lot of liberal morons on here that will support you anyway.

Feel free to offer your alternate theory then.

"Have you ever been outside on a warm sunny day, and suddenly the sun goes behind a cloud and the temperature feels like it drops several degrees? Then, you’ve experienced the energy of the sun and what happens when that energy is blocked.

The Earth gets it’s heat from the energy contained in rays of sunlight. Take that energy away and the amount of heat given to the Earth decreases. That’s what happens when clouds block even a small amount of the sunlight. The clouds not only block the sunlight, they block the energy needed to increase the temperature."

LMAO... keep spinning. Again, yes, it will feel cooler if a cloud goes between you and the sun. But colder doesn't mean there are clouds. It can be a bright sun shiny day with no clouds and be sub zero.

Conversely, you it depends on timing. If you go out in the morning and it is cloudy, the temperature can still rise throughout the day, even when it remains cloudy.
