American law does not require Hondurans who were fleeing America funded drug gangs in Honduras to sit in Ciudad Juárez and let all their children get picked up and kidnapped by American funded drug gangs in Ciudad Juarez while American border agents purposefully pretend as if they have no capacity to hear their cases. Hondurans are fully within their right to flee from the Juarez drug gangs into America.

Like if the Nazi army is right behind you, no, you do not have any responsibility to wait there and let the Nazis kill you because of the border.
 
Where in American law does it require Hondurans to stay in Mexico? There is no "nearest safe country" requirement in the law. Just because you wish there was, doesn't mean it exists. The US government itself doesn't even consider Meixco a safe place for citizens to travel to. But somehow it considers it acceptable to let children sit out in the cold and get picked up for sex slavery by gangs while border agents sit idly next to their entirely empty border processing station purposefully pretending as if they have no capacity in violation of American law.

But the UN does say that those seeking amnesty are to seek such, in the first country they reach; who has signed onto the agreement and Mexico is a signee. :D

American law does not extend outside of our borders, which means they are now subject to Mexican law.

migrants in the caravan were saying they want good jobs, and freedom from gangs. That is NOT what our asylum criteria are ( do I need to look them up for you?).

You are complaining about the process,but say nothing about the 60k arrested last month for illegal crossing-
you can be sure they've been coached to claim "asylum", and that's amjoreson for the backup in hearings.

You might as well just declare yourself for open borders - I respect those who come clean in their
"frontiers without borders" views, unlike Democrats who cry "oh no -not us"
and then do everything in their power to insure illegal immigration numbers gets as high as possible

The Kate Steinle case is the classic example of deportees coming back again and again,
but her's is just one tragedy among many.

Then there is the influx of farmers and unskilled labors who come in and drive down wages.
There is nothing good about unchecked immigration

Easy way to deal with this. Let them all in and stick them in a camp while they apply for asylum. When they do apply ask them why they didn't apply for asylum at the first safe harbor, which in their case is Mexico. Refuse their application for asylum and kick their ass back across the border.
