Saudi Arabia’s bitch!

I really wanted to go to Yemen and see this in the late 1990s, but Yemen was too dangerous

Atlantis in the Sand, the Lost City of Ubar.

The fabled lost city of Ubar, celebrated in both the Koran and "A Thousand and One Arabian Nights" as the center of the lucrative frankincense trade for 3,000 years before the birth of Christ, has been found by a Los Angeles-based team of amateur and professional archeologists.

Using a combination of high-tech satellite imagery and old-fashioned literary detective work, they discovered the fortress city buried under the shifting sands of a section of Oman so barren that it is known as the Rub'al Khali or Empty Quarter.

Built nearly 5,000 years ago, Ubar was a processing and shipping center for frankincense, an aromatic resin grown in the nearby Qara Mountains. Used in cremations and religious ceremonies, as well as in perfumes and medicines, frankincense was as valuable as gold.

Sometimes. Not that often. To be quite honest most of them do not have a clue how to use a weapon properly. Probably the reason more of them end up dead in a firefight.
This is what my nephews have reported fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Barack Obama’s administration handed the Palestinians $221 million (£177 million) on his last day in office, officials say.

The U.S. State Department released the funds to the Palestinian Authority, the body led by President Mahmoud Abbas that presides over the West Bank.

The money, drawn from the U.S. Agency for International Development, is intended for humanitarian assistance in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. It is meant to provide assistance for reform in the territories for any future Palestinian state.

Obama was their bitch ..... To hell with Israel .

Israel gets over 3 Billion a year in aid. Have you ever been to the West Bank or East Jerusalem?

The prince says they’ve bailed him out of bankruptcy twice.

Seriously - this is true?

In all fairness to Trump I can understand that a president would be cautious taking actions that would negatively affect an ally in the ME and a large trading partner for our arms-makers as well. That being said if it is true that Trump somehow owes SA because of his personal business dealings, it is high time that our other lawmakers grow a set of cojones and step in to curb this abject groveling and the Groveler-in-Chief too.

You don't blow up a 70 year relationship over one incident.

If this is true it is wrong. Can you provide a source for this information?

Some long-time married couples might disagree. That being said could you provide some rationale as to why we should be okay with the murder of a journalist because the current WH occupant has business dealings with the purported killers?

The price of oil dropping, did he make a deal?

That amount of aid is ridiculous. There is guilt and there are holocaust reparations but years upon years and billions upon billions is enough.
It's a strategic partner and long time what is essentially our client state.
That said we should condemn the way they handle Gaza -it's a disgrace

Not selling arms to them, I wish our government was in another line of work.

The RIZ is planned to increase Egyptian-Russian trade exchange, increase foreign direct investments in the local market, positively impact the country’s economic growth, and create new job opportunities for Egyptians.

On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia started working on establishing an industrial zone in Egypt, adding, “Russia has also begun the construction of a nuclear power plant in the city of Dabaa.”

ince 30 June 2013, the joint political relations with Russia are developing very well on many aspects of cooperation, particularly the military and political fields, said Ahmed, adding that views of both countries regarding regional issues in Yemen, Syria, and Libya are compatible.

Russia and Egypt believe that the regional issues should be solved with negotiations and peaceful ways and not by force, Ahmed mentioned, noting that both countries are cooperating in information exchange regarding terrorist attacks, as Russia thinks that the now banned Muslim Brotherhood is a “terrorist entity.”
