That is the problem. The anti-gun crowd base everything on feelings. If it is scary looking then it must be bad. Logic doesn't enter the picture. I once had a debate with a gun hater over bump stocks. I told him my semiautomatic 22 with a bump stock could fire twice as fast as an AR 15 his reply was we need to ban assault weapons.

Maybe it’s been said, but military style [actual assault weapons] guns are already illegal.

Which makes me suspicious of the OP article.

do you think we're incapable of modifying our own weapons to that of automatic weapons when needed? do you think that we are incapable of killing enemies from over 500 yards away? Do you think we have the same level of intelligence as you and can only see combat as lining up in a big pile to face off against our enemy in a big pile? have you never heard of guerilla warfare? If you are this unintelligent, why should we listen to you?

well, sorry to inform your ignorant ass, but I was a 6 year rifle expert and 4 year pistol expert as a marine. Do you know what that means? it means I could kill a human being from 500 yards away with a single shot.....a single shot. Is it your belief that when I got discharged from the marine corps, that they deprogrammed me so that I couldn't do that anymore????

maybe you are then, because I have yet to see you explain the difference between a current active duty marine and one who was a former marine...............what is the underlying difference, in your opinion, that makes the current one a deadly weapon and the former one an incompetent boob

Don't need to. My area is relatively crime and violence free. I would if I lived in a third world Democrat run shit hole city like Chicago. But I do carry my sidearm when traveling. I almost got robbed in a rest area once. Happy now?
