In another strike for rightwing ignorance, the thread author apparently is too stupid to realize most Muslims are not Arab, and many Arabs are not Muslim.

Islam is just another Western religion, in the trinity that is Judaism, Christianity, Islam. They have existed in some form or the other for over 5,000 years. That doesn't make them superior to other religions. We humans have been faithful to one god or the other for far longer than Christians, Jews, and Muslims came into being. Not that you asked or care, but here is my judgment on whether a religion is good or evil: Does it make you a better person for believing in it?

By my own criteria, Islam is no worse nor better than Christianity. By my own criteria, you are a horrible advocate for Jesus -- just as bad as the Muslims you hate so much. The only difference, really, between you and the Christian or Islamic extremists is that you have no voice or weapons or power to go out and slay those infidels.

Taqiyya is more a Shia concept than Sunni. It is supposed to be used only if the person's life is in danger. According to Islam, lying is a sin, so the reason to utilise this must be great enough to justify the lying.
