I thought your side is fed up with "thoughts and prayers"
Thoughts and prayers from elected officials who have the power to act but don't.

I don't recall posting such. Any infringement of our rights will be fought tooth and nail, through our representatives, the courts and at the ballot box. I was pointing out your inability to grasp the difference between an insult and a promise. Nice deflection and straw man argument, though.
Your right to carry a gun isn't in danger and you said nothing before this about reps, courts or ballots. The insult is to those of us who believe we need to address gun violence as a growing problem, while the pro-gun people can only respond with slogans.
Because there is no effective solution anyone has suggested. Some think if we just pass a law that is enough whether it is effective or not---it sounds good, appears as if we have "acted decisively," and we "beat the NRA."
That wasn't an insult, truth, have you ever seen an arguement supporting guns that falls outside of the parameters I noted above?
And gun huggers don't want to address guns, conservatives are more interested in spreading guns, look at the gun carry reciprocal legislation they just snuck thru the House, they have no interest in any measure of any kind that could help alleviate gun violence or school shootings if it means taking a serious look at regulating weapons, weapons of any kind
As I said, pointless
I've read the gun threads and the biggest number of comments from gunners are like "oh snap, the liberals will try and take my guns away. Outa my cold, dead hands."
Where is the sympathy for the victims and their families? Where is the acknowledgement that everybody isn't as enamored of guns as they are?
The Constitution is more important than any individual's life. Sad that you don't understand that.
Do you have a suggestion?
Nice to see someone finally admit the blood of those innocent children is on their hands.
You sir, are to be commended for admitting you value an inanimate object designed for killing more than you value a human being's life.

I haven’t cited a single NRA talking point while discussing the issue of guns (at least not one that I’m aware of) recently. I am simply trying to highlight that the only fool proof (or full proof if one prefers) way to eliminate stuff like this is to implement European type of gun laws which almost eliminates private gun ownership and makes it so that only the wealthier of society can own them.

Absolutely. These shootings are terrible. If people think that gun owners don’t think that way they’re nuts. But gun owners also know that with every one of these events comes the cry to ban guns so they (we) double down on our stance and defense of this cherished right.
I value the rights enumerated in the Constitution, which are far more important than any individual's life. You can certainly disagree, most liberals hate the Constitution. There is no blood on my hands because of that. Your inability to comprehend a very straightforward statement is indeed pathetic.
No one is, nor ever has, called for banning guns, the plea is for regulating guns, so such as a eighteen year old kid who can't get a beer can walk in to a gun store and legally purchase a AK15.
What you are doing is echoing a NRA talking point
So there aren't minimal gun regulations now? That's a new oneYou won't discuss even the most minimal regulation of guns, so yes, the blood of every child gunned down by a sicko is on your hands.
CONGRATS!!

Awwww now, you see what you did there?
You tried to use "the truth" and JPP Righties just don't do "the truth".
Of course every JPP Liberal wants to confiscate all guns everywhere!
Who cares that you can't find a single instance of anyone saying anything even remotely close to it.
