did i express it publicly on this forum? no. that does not mean i don't have sympathy for everyone involved. even despite his horrendous choice in killing the kids, I have sympathy for the shooter having suffered the deaths of his parents like that.

Maybe I wasn't clear about what a two way street means. It means people on both sides need to be willing to talk. Not everyone is. That means you have to find those who are.

I was talking about an instinctive response to tragedy, not a response delivered after considering what others would think.

I would hope most people's first reaction to the shooting is utter horror. But I guess only each individual knows what they really feel.
