Are you saying that having to stop at a red light or stop sign means you've been detained? The law says you have to stop at those. If you want to drive faster than the posted speed limit, does the law saying you can only go so fast mean you've been detained?
you really don't understand the concept of the constitutions RESTRICTING the government, do you? state constitutions give the legislature power to govern the roadways, things like speed limits and lanes and stop signs, etc. The right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure is supposed to prevent law enforcement from stopping/detaining you unless you have committed a crime, are committing a crime, or are about to commit a crime.
