If Moore was such a bad candidate before the accusations and it has nothing to do with the accusations or Trump, then why didn’t they pick Strange?
absolutely.. Dems are always well organized .Repubs are a circular firing squadMy deep level analysis aside, I will say congrats for pulling off the victory. That's tough to do in alabama, and I tip my hat to you. You guys kept your head down and pulled off a solid win.
primary base voters picked MooreIf Moore was such a bad candidate before the accusations and it has nothing to do with the accusations or Trump, then why didn’t they pick Strange?
Why, if he was a bad candidate, they rejected Strange, why did they do that? Trump supported Strange, Bannon supported Moore, why did primary voters pick Moore if he was a bad candidate and the allegations or Trump had no influence?primary base voters picked Moore
i'm no expert on Al. but you do understand primaries? Base voters drive the agenda. Why, if he was a bad candidate, they rejected Strange, why did they do that? Trump supported Strange, Bannon supported Moore, why did primary voters pick Moore if he was a bad candidate and the allegations or Trump had no influence?
Senators starting to object to tax bill. It’s not a done deal, yet. It’s going to be tight and Senators better look at the polls, people hate this tax bill.lots of blame on DC establishment. McConnel for backing Strange, instead of some other guy..
Republican politics are disastrous. I'm sure they'll find a way to loose the Senate -as difficult as it is.
Tax Reform has to get done this year - Jones doesn't get seated till next year
Yes, I understand primaries, and Trump backed Strange, so if they supported Trump, why didn’t they vote for Strange? This is what I don’t understand.i'm no expert on Al. but you do understand primaries? Base voters drive the agenda.
Moore was Red Meat for the red base. Plus there was talk about going against the guy McConnel supported..
DC establishment is really loathed by Alabama republicans -it's why Tump's win was YUGE
it's not a direct line.Yes, I understand primaries, and Trump backed Strange, so if they supported Trump, why didn’t they vote for Strange? This is what I don’t understand.
always a lot of grumbling.Senators starting to object to tax bill. It’s not a done deal, yet. It’s going to be tight and Senators better look at the polls, people hate this tax bill.
Your logic doesn’t follow, if Alabama voted huge for Trump and still support him, why didn’t they vote for his candidate?it's not a direct line.
endorsemets don't mean voters..
It’s certainly possible but by no means assured there could be a Wave election in 2018 but I don’t think current polling data supports that.
If voters reject an encumbant president in a booming economy—-I’ll have to see that to believe it.
Moore’s baggage makes extrapolating from this race kind of sketchy, but I know how desperate you are to do it, so go ahead, I’ll watch lol.
white women ( soccer mom's) didn't come out - not enough Republican support to overcome big black turnout in cities.Your logic doesn’t follow, if Alabama voted huge for Trump and still support him, why didn’t they vote for his candidate?
This is what I’m trying to wrap my head around. Grind is claiming it has nothing to do with Trump or allegations, so I’m trying to figure out why Moore lost, if neither of these played a part.
So, what were the other factors? You claim it was McConnel and then claim endorsements don’t matter, which is it?white women ( soccer mom's) didn't come out - not enough Republican support to overcome big black turnout in cities.
Endorsements don't mean much in any election -look for other factors
the rejection of McConnel is a factor..endorsement is a factor. So, what were the other factors? You claim it was McConnel and then claim endorsements don’t matter, which is it?
Don't you want to lecture Democrats about "how to win elections" today?
They won this race with the ‘me too’ formula.
My advice to democrats is to not press too hard on that one lol.
