The debt has not been lowered in a fiscal year since IKE was president.

The tech/internet boom along with the capital gains tax cuts allowed Clinton to come close to having a neutral year in 2000.

You mean when Europe, Japan were in shambles due to WWII, prior to China rising as an economic power, just as the USSR was consolidating power and beginning its rise?

Raising taxes to 90% will not get us back to that situation. The US had little damage done to our land/infrastructure during WWII (all of it in Hawaii).

Keep in mind, that as a percent of GDP, Federal income tax revenues have been about the same since 1950.

But Desh wants us to go back to a time when women were largely kept out of the work force and in the kitchen. Desh wants us to go back to a time that Jim Crow laws were in effect. Clearly Desh hates women and minorities.

And your Lord and savior added more to the debt than all previous presidents COMBINED.

And FYI, reducing the rate of increase, is not "lowering". Moot point since O'Bama didn't even do that.

I don't know about what ppl here said about Obama during his tenure. I do know what a good many of his opponents on the old Amazon forum said though, and none of it had to do with his policies or principles. Their anti-Obama comments were based on things like his ethnicity, supposed Muslim faith, his features and looks, he-wasn't-all-that-smart-at-Harvard-because-affirmative-action. I call that racist. Others who opposed Obama because of policies, actions, principles, agenda etc were righteous rather than racist.

That nonsense has been debunked 10000 times. There was NO SURPLUS. There was the 'budgeted surplus' but not an actual surplus. The national debt has risen every single fiscal year since IKE.
