12% have power, over a million w/ no running water

Just answer, who is paying for these shipping containers, and who is pouring the concrete foundations for them, and who is clearing the slums so that this process can begin?

You are a wet dream................................

GEEEEE; let's see, shall we.

The shipping containers could be part of the restructuring plan, the citizens of PR could ban together by communities and pour the concrete (one house at a time), and the "slums" have to be cleared anyway.

I still don't see what the problem is. :good4u:

Why would the USA buy houses for every Puerto Rican when they do not do that for poor Americans?

You are a mental fool

And a Zero

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, so that's your real complaint!!

Most "poor" Americans, in the US, aren't living in hobbled together slums; but you should really start your own thread, so you can address your broken heart. :good4u:

3 million!!''

Are you saying that the only homes in PR were in the slums??

Everything on Puerto Rico outside of tourist resorts are slums...............Now not all the slums are as bad as the worst, but without adequate infrastructure and access to real medical care, all of Puerto Rico is a slum.......................

Which is why they come here.

You understand now?

The recent mass influx is because PR has been pretty much flattened.

I suspect that as things improve, a lot of them will be returning back to PR.

But then, this has nothing to do with the idea of using shipping containers as homes. :D

So in your mind people just began leaving Puerto Rico for the USA after the last hurricane................

You live in a cave

Is that what I said?? :D

I said that people are and have been leaving Puerto Rico because it is a shitty slum. You then said that people are only leaving because of the hurricane which is just plain dumb, like you.

Next.......................

PS. So how many cargo containers are you buying for Puerto Rico?

Talk is cheap

Is Bob Villa donating 3 million of these to Puerto Rico and installing the foundations as well? If not who is?

I have no idea. That video is just to help answer some construction questions. Obviously that example is of a full size home. But, smaller ones are perfect for temporary to permanent shelter that is cheap, efficient and hurricane-proof.

Hmmm, that's not what I said; but you just go ahead and keep telling yourself the things that keep you happy. :good4u:

Ps: I'm buying as many for PR, that you intend to buy for the poor here in the US. :D

I don't really see a hurricane ripping off the roof or the walls; but TheDonald would rather that no one does or suggest anything. :palm:

He's full of shit, there are just over 3 million people in Puerto Rico, so there are well under a million dwellings. The economy of Puerto Rico is classified as a high income economy by the World Bank and as the most competitive economy in Latin America by the World Economic Forum.

Nothing is hurricane proof about a cargo container, in fact a hurricane could move it miles, unless it is anchored down to a concrete footing, and even then it is not raised above the flood line. You seriously have no idea what the term hurricane proof means, in reality Richard Branson BILLIONAIR could not construct a hurricane proof home.

You are living in a delusion masquerading as life.
