The President better hope and pray the GOP doesn't lose the House in 2018

"Congress gives Trump a pass on releasing his tax returns"

“How can we debate tax reform proposals without seeing the president’s tax returns?” asked Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-N.J.), who sponsored the resolution. “Congress has the authority and the duty to obtain and review President Trump’s tax returns to ensure there are no potential conflicts of interest in the tax policies he is proposing.”

"Republicans saw it differently, calling the attempt to get Mr. Trump’s information an invasion of privacy. Need they be reminded that the person who sits in the Oval Office is not a private citizen"

At this point the numbers work against the Democrats, however if Congress continues to be as dysfunctional as it has a whole new ballgame could surface, one that could result in Mueller’s investigation being only the tip of the iceberg

Why? Democrats have set on their asses so far and not cast one yes vote....what will change in 2018 that will make them suddenly begin doing the job they were hired to do...UNLESS they have been playing party politics all along and not concerned in the least in representing THE PEOPLE who hired them? Just saying.....do you not think that is one of the reasons they lost their asses in the last election? The people are tired of the game that accomplishes nothing but more debt and more poverty? Oh...my bad, it was a Russian behind every seat that cost them over 1000 government seats, the white house, the senate, congress and most likely SCOTUS. Please continue with your parroted "hypothesis". :)

I'm really looking forward to '18.
Bannon has promised to primary every Republican who doesn't get on the trump train...which means almost every Republican will be primaried. Sure...the districts are pretty safely gerrymandered, but it's going to cost billions to 'save' incumbent Republicans.

what's it going to cost to elect a demmycrat?.....

How do you know, if he calls for certain deductions how does the American taxpayer know that he isn't doing it to solely to maximize his own personal profits? We had prior Presidents' tax history to review any potential conflict of interest, here the Nation is flying blind

how do we know you are not a certifiable nut job?

answer, we don't. see evidence highlighted above ^^^

Can you really be this stupid?
Your honor I submit that not only is he this stupid, but allowing him to post on a political forum is wasting the time of the fine men and women forced to read this obvious biased hate filled non-sense.

DO you not ever ask yourself, you goof ball what in the world would Donald J Trump be doing in the White House if "maximizing his profits" was his motive?
Stupid has reached a new level and you sir are it's clown prince.

and none were president.

Nobody claimed they were, rage troll.

But Y O U made this false claim:

Wrong, a black could have never been elected during slavery.

I'm confident that you'll rage that you "clearly' meant "as president", but you didn't say that.

Words have meaning. Try using the language for something except insults and cursing and you can improve with practice.

Hilarious.

"Almost every Republican will be primaried"? Is that so? Because Althea told me? :rofl2:

Even if that were true (it isn't), that's what can happen when you're draining the swamp.

Swamp creatures are already falling on their swords by announcing that they won't seek re-election, and new blood is declaring their intention to run. That's not a bad thing.

Dirty DEMOCRATS pay lip service to ending the practice of gerrymandering, but it seems to be a goal of theirs in states where they don't control the legislature. Must be a coincidence.

FYI, the practice is named for Governor Gerry, a member of the forerunner of DEMOCRATS - the party that enacted Jim Crow to deprive African-Americans of their rights.

With the Civil Rights Movement and passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, (which many DEMOCRATS opposed) federal enforcement and protections of suffrage for all citizens were enacted. Gerrymandering for the purpose of reducing the political influence of a racial or ethnic minority group was prohibited.

After the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was passed, some states created "majority-minority" districts to enhance minority voting strength. This practice, also called "affirmative gerrymandering", was supposed to redress historic discrimination and ensure that ethnic minorities would gain some seats and representation in government (benefiting DEMOCRATS). That is "reverse" discrimination, which disingenuous DEMOCRATS try to portray in a virtuous light to obscure the fact that it is still discrimination.

In some states, bipartisan gerrymandering is the norm. State legislators from both parties sometimes agree to draw congressional district boundaries in a way that ensures the re-election of most or all incumbent representatives from both parties

In 2015, an analyst reported that the two major parties differ in the way they redraw districts.

DEMOCRATS construct coalition districts of liberals and minorities which results in DEMOCRAT-leaning districts. Republicans tend to place liberals all together in a district, conservatives in others.

If DEMOCRATS want to convince me that they want to end gerrymandering (they don't), they should introduce a Constitutional amendment to establish purely geographic district boundaries and push for ratification (they won't).

Why not include the post I replied to, shit fer brains.
)What a shitty troll you are.

Do you really think there is going to be tax reform? This President hasn't accomplished a single major policy goal in almost 8 months. Why should anything change?
Furthermore, do we need tax reform?

We don't. The current tax code has so many exceptions to it the raw rates are almost meaningless. Corporations in he USA do not pay very high taxes.
