If I email you and say I have some great weed I'd like to sell you, and you invite me to your place to try the weed, you have asked for what I was offering.

When are you going to tell us who won the 2017 World Series?

125 idiot.

There are gaps because the committee allowed Donnie Jr to testify without being sworn in.

He was free to lie his ass off and he did just that.
Regardless of sworn oaths, it is still illegal to lie to Congress.....you're sooooo stupid you make Thingy look smart....

First of all, illiterate fuck, have someone read that legal definition of 'solicit' to you. Then, in that context, review these emails. Junior PROVIDED his cell phone number.

With respect to Meeting Gate there are two annoying and troublesome facts for the Impeachment Enthusiasts.

The first has been gone over for 3 or pages on this thread lol: Junior was *offered* dirt on Hillary by someone who claimed to be an agent of the Russian government. No matter how giddy Junior was at the prospect of hearing it, there just isn't anything illegal in meeting with the Russians to hear them out.

Had Junior gone in search of dirt from a foreign government [kind of like the way the DNC did with the Ukrainians] that may have mattered. Or had Junior sent an agent to the Kremlin, or even the Russian embassy, to try and come up with something/anything on Hillary, that may have mattered.

Similarly, had Junior solicited help from a British spy, who then solicited dirt from Russians to publish in a dossier, to damage Hillary with, that may have mattered.

*hypocrisy alert*

But none of that went on with Junior. Junior simply went to hear what the Russians had to say. And that's ok, we aren't at war with Russia. Not to mention the whole freedom of association thing.

The second troublesome thing for the Impeachment Enthusiasts is this: nothing came of the meeting and there is zero evidence to the contrary.

Case, closed.

you cant take help from a foreign entity in an American election

if this were someone other than a republican you would agree

You had best reread his emails, idiot!

(m)To solicit. For the purposes of part 300, to solicit means to ask, request, or recommend, explicitly or implicitly, that another person make a contribution, donation, transfer of funds, or otherwise provide anything of value. A solicitation is an oral or written communication that, construed as reasonably understood in the context in which it is made, contains a clear message asking, requesting, or recommending that another person make a contribution, donation, transfer of funds, or otherwise provide anything of value. A solicitation may be made directly or indirectly. The context includes the conduct of persons involved in the communication. A solicitation does not include mere statements of political support or mere guidance as to the applicability of a particular law or regulation.

(1) The following types of communications constitute solicitations:

(i) A communication that provides a method of making a contribution or donation, regardless of the communication. This includes, but is not limited to, providing a separate card, envelope, or reply device that contains an address to which funds may be sent and allows contributors or donors to indicate the dollar amount of their contribution or donation to the candidate, political committee, or other organization.

(ii) A communication that provides instructions on how or where to send contributions or donations, including providing a phone number specifically dedicated to facilitating the making of contributions or donations. However, a communication does not, in and of itself, satisfy the definition of “to solicit” merely because it includes a mailing address or phone number that is not specifically dedicated to facilitating the making of contributions or donations.

(iii) A communication that identifies a Web address where the Web page displayed is specifically dedicated to facilitating the making of a contribution or donation, or automatically redirects the Internet user to such a page, or exclusively displays a link to such a page. However, a communication does not, in and of itself, satisfy the definition of “to solicit” merely because it includes the address of a Web page that is not specifically dedicated to facilitating the making of a contribution or donation.

Hi Don

Let me know when you are free to talk with Emin by phone about this Hillary info - you had mentioned early this week so wanted to try to schedule a time and day Best to you and family Rob Goldstone

The phrase "including negative information about a political opponent" does not seem to appear in 11 CFR 110.20 - Prohibition on contributions, donations, expenditures, independent expenditures, and disbursements by foreign nationals (52 U.S.C. 30121, 36 U.S.C. 510).

https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/11/110.20

Yet here we see Dummer apparently insisting that it does:

"No person shall knowingly solicit, accept or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation," reads Title 11 in the Code of Federal Regulations, section 110.20 (g). A contribution can be "anything of value," including negative information about a political opponent.

Then we also have Dummer apparently insisting that something of value was solicited:

He SOLICITED that SOMETHING OF VALUE. That, in itself, is a violation of the law.

What value does non-existent information have?

Then we have Dummer apparently insisting that a donation was solicited:

That's because they don't apply. The definition of DONATION does.

What donation was solicited?

Next we have Dummer apparently trying another tactic:

Yeah, the meeting with a foreign agent is illegal. The dirt doesn't have to be obtained, idiot. Read the definition of solicit.

Funny, because Dummer previously tried to claim that something of value was solicited "including negative information about a political opponent" (a phrase he added himself). No negative information about a political opponent was received and has never been proven to have existed, and another party did the soliciting.

We also have Dummer apparently claiming that the Russian government was there:

we do know they met with the Russian Gov't thereby directly involving the Kremlin in the US election

Then Dummer apparently circles back:

As soon as the meeting occurred, regardless of the content or outcome, the law was violated. The word is "solicit" and that's exactly what Jr did.

Dummer thinks that if his mom offers to show her tits to a sailor and the sailor says "if it’s what you say I love it," and Dummer's mom never shows them, the sailor is guilty of solicitation.

:rofl2:
