Hating unions, especially teacher unions is a racist republican platform. Always has been.
Loving teachers unions is your platform, so that there are enough poorly educated misfits to share in your mindless ideology.

a perennial question, is it not?.....who or what is legion?
if money is a factor why are the most expensive schools among the worst?......

who or what is legion?
One of many, try to stay up on the one post @ least..![]()
He is a poster here, although he is posting under many other names...
Should I, we, accept a mediocre school system so teachers can maintain their current benefits?
can't respond to even one?......for shame, bill.....lib'ruls should be willing to back up their claims.......again, if money is a factor why the public schools of Detroit, Buffalo and Washington DC, three of the school districts that spend more per student (upwards of $15k per student) among the worst......for contrast, my kids went to a private school where tuition was between $5k and $6k per year and both had no difficulty in completing college on the dean's list.......
is money a valid factor?......

As I said...
Because they spend a lot in a few places means they spend it everywhere?? Pls fool.![]()
correlation, bill....correlation.....document that more money means better education......I've given examples that prove you wrong, have you got some to prove you right?.......let's get empirical.....
Let's get empirical, 'pirical
I want to get empirical
Let's get empirical....
Let me hear your numbers talk, your numbers talk
Let me hear your numbers talk....
The mediocre school system is because the racist white man doesn't want to fund public school.... nor do they want to educate Blacks.
That is why we have unions in the first place.

Funny that's TTQ64's position considering the long history of racism within the unions. But Democratic racism is ok so I guess that's what makes it pass.
Funny how many Democrats have spoken out against the teachers unions as well but it's ok when they do it.
No one likes to give up their monopoly power. But many charter schools are public schools. They just aren't required to use union teachers.
Sure. But when we complain about the quality of education in this country then say we are ok with the teachers union fighting any and all change we are saying two competing things.
Let's be clear, I'm speaking about the teacher unions. I'm not commenting specifically about individual teachers.
As far as public policy goes the teacher unions have the most power so they will get discussed the most.
