These Texans didn't support federal aid!

So you're saying that there's no way to get rid of the pork?? :palm:

As a practical matter, pretty much. Of course, it is only pork when it is going on someone else's plate. ;)

The Senate is a much smaller body and most of the members have a much larger constituency than House Members. They have a lot less time to commit to individual pieces of legislation than the House does because they have to cover a lot more ground literally and figuratively.

Texass is a taker state...
They take more in federal aide every year, than they pay in income taxes...

Right now we are waiting for the organic peroxide plant to explode...
The refrigeration units have failed due to the floods, and when the sun comes out tomorrow and warms the facility...
KABLOOWEEEEE!

No telling how fucking big it will be because Texass doesn't require chemical plants to disclose their inventory.

Residents are not required to evacuate in Texass no matter how bad or close the danger is...
Many won't leave the area around the Crosby plant
Watch as the death toll from Harvey skyrockets...

More taxes we can get you to pay. YIPPIE :D

NO, pork is pork.

If a Congressman wants something for their State, then float it on it's own.
Stop attaching shit to something that is needed.

so planners are losers, got it. people who buy insurance are losers. people who mandate insurance are losers. people who bitch about people not buying insurance are hypocrites when they believe if/would=losers. thus, YOU are a loser, 5 times over.

lol

Provide an example of the last time "if/would" occurred, loser. I'll wait.

Reality Check: Promoting a "smaller" government does not promote NO GOVERNMENT. There is no change in opinion only "gratitude" for the leadership now in place that has acted promptly with more speed than any time in recent history....and all this after the leadership began draining the swamp in a blotted federalist system that became so heavy with red tape that such a rapid response could not have resulted.

What? Trump like Bush....controlled the weather after 8 years of liberal greatness in between? Really? Do Liberal's really expect anyone to purchase your parroted propaganda?

You know what would have been greater? If the democrats had not placed a road block in the appointment of the current FEMA head (it took from April until June) in getting the current FEMA leadership in place....all thanks to your friendly neighborhood democrats in Congress. Think what could have been accomplished so much faster if this emergency leadership had more than 6 weeks to prepare for such a natural disaster. ;) What is taking place is conservatism in action.....dealing with the reality that surrounds them....not crying and whining....but the taking of action in the face of the greatest natural disaster this nation has ever witnessed.

Small is simply a matter of degree and opinion.
