You'd never know it because the media is obsessed with all things Russia, but Trump and Tillerson scored a pretty significant diplomatic victory by bringing China and Russia in on a set of sanctions against NK.

So we now have strong sanctions AND the threat of real military action going against Bowl Cut. This has never happened and it's doubtful it would have happened under Hillary or any other republican.

We take that gamble every day with the soviet union, China, Pakistan, India, Israel, GB and Tazmania. Why not NK or Iran?
Hell, Trump lights some off towards the Russians and the doomsday device kicks in.

i dont think he's insane, i think it's just an act. For example the stories of him golfing and getting 15 holes in one, or the fact that he doesn't poop, are all there to make him seem completely comical to us when in actuality he's a psychopathic killer

A big AMEN! to this. I just don't understand anybody believing he's really a genius playing 4-D chess. Has nobody looked at his life, which he was happy to live in public before now? The man is an intellectual zero. There's no "there" there. The only thing he gets high marks for is bullshitting and even that only appeals to a certain segment of the population.

Quite the team for an unhinged president to pick lol. I don't know when we had a more solid team.

Along a similar vein, Trump listens to his military people [its an unhinged thing I guess lol] so he wouldn't move unless they think it can be done.

Duck and cover was psychological palliative care. It was not a real strategy to limit injury and death. I lived 15 miles from the pentagon for 18 years of my live. We had those air raid drills.
To the point, the fact that the government was less transparent then and lied more doesn't mean the existential threat today is less real. More Sailor fail

With the exception of the Iranians, no one is on the same crazy scale as Bowl Cut.

Because of his penchant for shooting first, and then leaving people like the above to clean up his messes. According to our news none of them knew he was going to make that doomsday threat to NK.

Those sanctions were an immense change to the status quo, it is rare that the Security Council votes 15-0 on any issue.

I don't think we can really know that for sure. It was classic willy waving, probably the only thing Kim Wrong-un understands.
