The last time I went to the US was about four years ago when I went to see my old mate Richard in Vancouver and we stayed a few days in Seattle. The first time I went was to Maryland to see our US partner Dialcomm in Silver Spring. We stayed for a month and also visited US Sprint in Reston Virginia and a host of other companies, many sadly no longer in business. Another time I flew to California to visit a company called General Automation in Anaheim for two weeks and attended some courses. Also been to New York, do you want dates as well?

And a little knowledge can sometimes be a dangerous thing. Just because someone has traveled somewhere & overheard some comments doesn't mean that they're an expert on what the people there think.

The Frogs of course, they had it good one time. Under the pretext that it would stop any new wars, the French managed to set the agenda and get the Germans to pay for it. If you want a name then Jean Monnet is the one most consider to be the chief architect for a Federal Europe.

I went to Poland at least 10 times as well as Czechoslovakia, before the split, and then many times after to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. I also went to Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Estonia and Russia. Where have you been?

Nearly forgot I have an old mate Steve who comes from my neck of the woods but has lived in San Jose for the last twenty years. We meet up occasionally in Thailand and he keeps begging me to go see him in California.

I don't know how you do it. If I'm lucky, I plan to visit some distant US territories (Guam, Virgin Islands), England, Ireland, Italy, France, Domican Republic, Bahamas, Belize, and, possibly, Australia, all while making more trips up to Canada, and, of course, I still need to see Mexico.
