Statue Of Racist Leader Taken Down In New Orleans

There are some that should be removed -like the one that was to keeping blacks disenfranchised ( forget the details).
They celebrate discrimination..or any that celebrate "Southern heritage" =slavery.

But the historical markers, or to the soldiers themselves should stay.
Go to Gettysburg and see the Confederate monuments. Tell me they should be removed. You can't/

Mine is still flying and it will continue to fly because you will do nothing but run your dick sucker about it. My family didn't own slaves. We weren't in the country until after 1900. You can't even pay most blacks to work today.

When I lived there the only ones coming to see them were the pigeons & occasional & unfortunate tourist looking to take a leak..........

So why celebrate a country that lasted from 1861 until 1865? You should celebrate America, seeing as how you live here.

68% of NO residents oppose removing the monuments. The poll was done by a local TV station and included 800 respondents. Only 19% were in favor of removing them.

Like I said, this is really bad politics. But I think democrats should be encouraged to take their cultural purge to the next level and go national with it.
