Mexico ready to hit the US where it hurts: Corn

Perhaps you can display some of this great intelligence you claim to have and actually explain why you think he is stupid.

I won't wait.

Do I really need to explain to you why a trade war with Mexico is a bad idea or why giving up a huge export market would hurt us, especially for corn?

It seems you are not so bright.

The demand for drugs has always been off the charts in this country, a wall is not going to change that. Now I'm not a drug person so I can't speak to the amount of cocaine for instance that comes through Mexico vs say Miami. But I have an extremely difficult time believing drug cartels won't be able to meet American demand for drugs because a wall was put up on portions of our border.

Trumps new homeland security guy John Kelly is a mental midget if one recent anecdote is any indication. He came to visit San Diego and went to the San Ysidro border when coincidentally they found a giant tunnel under the wall there. He said, "I would argue this shows walls work because otherwise they would not spend a fortune to tunnel under it" Hey Einstein, what about the fact that a tunnel under a wall shows that tunnels defeat a wall?

So using your dimwitted leftist logic, we should just let them in because they will always find some way to get in.

Dunce. Tunneling is a very dangerous and costly, labor intensive method that only drug cartels use. Suggesting the wall isn't working along the CA border is the realm of lunatics.

its a shame we don't look for tunnels......maybe that's another lame liberal policy we can burn.........

Immigrant hate alone was not the sales pitch used by your suede shoe -fuller brush salesman in chief.

"All the way back in 2015, when Trump announced his campaign, he accused undocumented immigrants of bringing drugs into the US, a point he has repeated several times since. According to historian Kathleen Frydl, Trump voters in parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania ravaged by drug addiction may have voted for him based on the idea that the narcotics flooding their communities came from foreign countries and that Trump alone could halt this flow."

If they struggle to meet it that's a win. If they are unable to meet it that's even better.

I guarantee they don't want it built. F' em, build it.

Is there any evidence that shows a wall will slow down the amount of drugs coming into this country or that demand wouldn't be met by a wall?

there's plenty of evidence that shows what we've been doing so far hasn't worked.......wonder if we should do something different?.....

Yes we should do something different. What's being proposed here however is a double down on failure. It's like the war on poverty or issues with schools, instead of changes people say we just need to spend more money.

A wall isn't going to stop drugs from coming here. Ending the war on drugs is the first step in dealing with the drug issue

Well, you kind of need a wall before you can talk about evidence lol.

Let's stick with the facts since that's what we know. Fact is, the cartels run drugs across the border. Why wouldn't they? They're crooks and they always take the most cost effective route to money---legalities being of absolutely no consideration. The cartels also do a fair amount of human trafficking across the border. Along with the feel-good stories of Mexican immigrants coming here and finding the American dream, there's an equal part of crime and misery that comes along with it. In fact, one could argue we have a moral obligation to put a stop to it for that very fact.

I can't imagine why drug cartels would want Trumps wall. And it's a safe bet the cartels are a big reason Mexico doesn't want the wall, given how the drug cartels have infiltrated the Mexican government.

I haven't come across a reason why Americans shouldn't want it. Can you think of one?

No one hares immigrants you leftist twit; that's another of the moronic leftist talking points.

This is about wanting to PROTECT our borders, abide by EXISTING LAWS and promote LEGAL immigration.

Wrong; it wasn't about drugs, but rather, JOBS. But what the voters do know is that unlike leftTards and the Fake Media who defend a celebrate criminals and unfettered drug use, they correctly believe that Trump will TRY to do something unlike the do-nothing losers on the left.

Dunce.

There is, but one can also use COMMON SENSE by knowing that by making it HARDER to cross the borders, drugs will also be harder to SMUGGLE.

We do LOOK for these tunnels; but they are underground and difficult to locate.

Who claims the wall will "STOP" it? It will do more than what you and the idiots on the left are suggesting; which basically doing more of the same amounting to NOTHING.

The critics think you can dig a tunnel under in an afternoon lol. The reality is it would take considerable time and resources for the cartels dig tunnels. Probably take weeks at minimum. Then they would have to funnel people and drugs through a hole in the ground instead of using Jose's beat up chevy to haul them across.

The cartels do not want it built. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't try and sabotage its construction.
