Yeah. I have never had a problem with that. I just have problems with people who should know better spilling coffee on themselves. Too bad he believes welfare is the answer to many problems rather than just the beginning of education.

I'm talking about those that choose prostitution after it's been legalized because they have no other way to make ends meet.

No, I support organ selling if it is restricted to those who make the choice willingly, not because of such play as I have described. I would hate for my 14 year old daughter to be "convinced" by a "not pimp" that selling parts is the only way she could stay in that apartment.

We do not need young men or women "turned out" to sell their pieces.

But you were arguing earlier that people in poor conditions don't necessarily have a choice and are a slave to the variables.... so how are you going to determine if they are actually making a free choice with little coercion?

I was describing at a higher level such circumstance as the organ pimp. The reality that we may not be able to determine such tells me that such sales may be morally reprehensible. The government should not condone such force, nor provide the means to supply it.
 
Well lets roll the dice. There are too many hardworking good people that should have every right to sell their organs. maybe just ban poor people :p

I have covered this OVER and OVER. The woman in Albuquerque that spilled coffee on her crotch wanted $3200.00 to cover her deductable and missed work. Evidence was presented at trial that McDonalds was TOLD over and over by the makers of the coffee machines that they were serving their coffee at temperatutes which would scald the inside of the mouth and leave 3d degree burns on the skin and they should be turned down. The woman did not even get a lawyer at first but contacted McDonalds herself and made the offer to settle for 3200 dollars. McDonalds legal told her to get fucked and ONLY then did she get a lawyer. McDonalds fucked up.

I understand. They "fucked" up. However I still have a problem with somebody spilling something on themselves and suing another.

Yes but does McDonald's have liability? If they would've served their beverages at normal and not unexpected tempatures, there would be no danger FROM spilling the beverage on yourself.

It is a hot beverage that is often served hot in many places. There is inherent danger when ordering and drinking such a substance. Due diligence and care should be made to keep yourself safe, and it is preposterous to say it was their fault you spilled a hot drink on yourself.

Now, McDonald's, as a corp and living in this day and age of the lawsuit for tripping in the parking lot should definitely have known to settle cheaply. However, I will always have a problem with somebody who spilled something on themselves suing another for giving it to them...

If McDonald's wouldn't have been so reckless and negligent this wouldn't have happened. It's MCDONALD'S clear fault.

No not serving hot coffe Damo, they served, according to the words of the people that made their machines, coffee that scalds the skin. Coffee that was in danger of creating 3rd degree burns. They were warned that they were setting themselves up for liability and ignored the warning from the manufacturer of the coffee machine.

Again, recklessly serving hot coffee...

No matter how many times I hear that they were warned that they might get sued, it doesn't change the main premise of what I have stated. If you spill the coffee on yourself because you are not careful, then sue the person you ordered and purchased the same from because they supplied it to you exactly as described, then I tend to have a problem with it.

One thing is certain, they didn't get the $6M dollars regardless.
