The post-truth era

Did anyone doubt that NOVA was going to come up with some apologist nonsense like the idea that Trump's MANY lies can "be explained by his simply being mis-informed, his personal opinions and observations and exaggerations."

It's one of the silver linings to a President Trump. Seeing how creative NOVA can get w/ the spin. He's in for quite a 4 years if he's determined to cover for Trump's lies.

Snopes is your typical left leaning spin machine.....I first noticed that in their attempts to explain away the many quotes of Democrats before and during the Iraqi war....they like to say, without explanation, that the quotes were taken out of context for the most part....quotes that in any context would mean exactly the same thing, no matter what the context....but suit yourself,....its better to analyze things for yourself, be your own fact checker....

I had various issues w/ the Obama admin - I actually didn't even vote for him in '12. But overall, I think he was a good President. After the debacle that was Bush, and sandwiched in between that & the debacle that will be Trump, I think most Americans will come to appreciate Obama's tenure. A lot do now, given his pretty amazing ratings for an outgoing President.

It isn't just Snopes. Trump's relentless lying has been chronicled by quite a few sources.

Right again, it isn't just Snopes.....the rest of the fact checkers are in the same wagon.....as is most of the general media....I can still picture Hillary at

the debates, "I hope the fact checkers are listening to Donald" and grinning like the cat that ate the canary.....

thats why no one really gives a shit what they say or print since they've been exposed as liars and left wing propaganda spinners.....

The instance where Hillary stood in front the Benghazi victim's family and told them the attack was due to a video and not a terrorist attack, places her in a special category of liars. If she would tell that lie, there's nothing she wouldn't lie about. Anyone who can't see the difference between that and Trump's hyperbole and exaggerations doesn't want to.

In fact, they are blind to the truth.
