"the basket of deplorables"

Not sure why this is surprising out of Hillary or any of the establishment elitists. Including some on the so-called right.

Hillary has no use for some people in her own party---as Wiki leaks informed us. You can only imagine her opinion of working stiffs.

That said, it's refreshing to watch Hillary have to back track on a statement lol. It was a pretty stupid thing to say, given that Trump has the momentum.
She isn't backtracking, sorry, and you are one of the deplorable people, squealing because this hit you.

The vast majority of Americans are better off today than they were 8 years ago. Even more would say that they were better off in the '90's under Clinton than under Bush.

Sorry 'bout that. The truth can be an inconvenient thing.

they are also better off than they were six years ago.....and four years ago.....and two years ago......its a shame we didn't have a president who could have done something sooner.......

you do recall the double digit unemployment that continued until what 2011?.....or 2016 if you are black and live in a major city run by Democrats......what was that you said about inconvenience?.....

Even more would say that they were better off in the '90's under Clinton than under Bush.

most would say they were better off in the 90s than they are today.......most were also better off during the first seven years of the Bush administration than they are today......what was that you said about inconvenience?......

I guess it would be fair for Trump to say that half of Hillary's supporters are lazy welfare scum looking for handouts and pumping out fatherless children to increase their monthly check.

Of course it would be awful for Trump to say that, so why is it ok for Hillary to use the leftwing rhetorical caricatures?

hhhhmmmmm I knows lots of ppl I would consider deplorable but not one of them has complained they are getting picked on... :dunno: Are you??

The Clinton's don't give a fuck about anything but getting rich and powerful.

Everything/everyone else is expendable -she frequently blamed her aides for the email fiasco(s)-
when she's not blaming Powell.

Try not to be a bigger idiot than you are. The fact is that 47% of Americans don't pay federal income taxes, not 47% of Democrats or Obama voters.

why should you be concerned about minor things like truth......he wasn't talking about who paid federal taxes......he was very explicit about who he was talking about....
All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That's an entitlement. The government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what.

you see any mention there of retirees, lie-beral? Retirees do pay taxes.

Where is Romney's and your statistic that 47% of Obama voters are dependent on government? I'll wait.

And how did you miss this sentence, liar? "These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax."

1. I coined the phrase long before Limbaugh did.
2. On fiscal policy, they are exactly the same.
3. We agree. The 'rats have not changed.
4. We agree again; "ic" is moronic to add to your Party's name.

1) Yeah, sure you did. lol
2) It's the social policies of the Republicans that demonstrate their ignorance.
3) The Democratic Party is considerably different than as recently as the 50s
4) The "ic" at the end makes it the formal name of the party whether you like it or not.

and therefor you conclude he was insulting military retirees......can you explain that logic to me?.....

They were in good shape until Bush fucked things up so badly. Takes a lot of time to dig out of the shithole that he left.
