I'd agree that the GOP has been obstructionist, but how can you absolve Obama of responsibility?

He promised change in that respect - but he's been a very partisan President. I don't think his rhetoric or actions have improved the climate at all.

Obama knew what he was getting into it. He said he could change the tone.

I don't see any evidence that he has even attempted to change the tone. I expected more of a Clinton sequel - Clinton was able to work w/ the GOP Congress, who hated him as much as the current one hates Obama, to get things accomplished. I think Obama bailed on that very early...way too early. He has not been a leader in that respect.

I like other aspects of Obama's Presidency, but he has not delivered on his promise to change the tone & the way things are done. Some of that lies w/ the GOP Congress, but he has to bear some accountability.
 
So Desh, you don't remember posting a list of statistics from 1992 in this thread? Did you go like Will Ferrill in Old School and black out while you posted thus why you can't remember?
