Trump's statement on terrorist attack

So, committing Genocide would have went well in the minds of everyone left. We would never have anyone wanting to kill us then!

they may but they would still have that memory to send a chilling effect.

now they have the memory of a largely useless us army.

Not that I think it was worth the blood and treasure, but the nation building was actually working when Bush left office. And he warned, prophetically almost, what would happen if we didn't leave enough troops there to maintain security. Obama promised to pull out of Iraq [the 'bad war'] during the 2008 campaign; the Iraqis bulked at a Status of Forces agreement, Obama saw a political opening and went for it----and the rest is very bloody history.

ehhh. if were going to nation build we should probably do it at home.

Oh, Christ. Man - you are so immersed in the koolaid.

Just know this: what you think is history, is not. Something happens in your brain...everything travels through this weird right-wing prism, where you no longer see the world as it is.

Bush "the prophet." I swear, I've seen it all. You're gone, man. Way gone.

I dunno, do you ever get past HuffPo and the NYT lol?

This isn't history?

how many people are actually in the KKK? How much political power do they actually hold? I understand Byrd got to senator for the dems but that was years ago.

Now compare that to ISIS who actually have a country.

The left condemn christians yet coddle islamic terrorism any chance they get.

Yet it is the muslims trying to kill them :)

It is no coincidence the guy was a democrat. They know which side is helping them.

Please spell out how the left "coddles Islamic terrorism."

Bush wanted to keep some troops there.

Go change your bong water.
the SOFA was negotiated to end with Bush's term "All the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory no later than December 31, 2011.”
..but there is more to it that that..start about 1/2 way down.

We take no position on whether the U.S. should have left some combat troops in Iraq. But the record shows that Jeb Bush ignored the fact that his brother agreed to the withdrawal deadline and agreed not to leave behind a residual force. Likewise, the Clinton campaign’s response that Iraq wouldn’t allow the Obama administration to renegotiate the terms of the withdrawal ignored criticism that Obama didn’t try hard enough. That criticism isn’t just partisan. His own defense secretary said Obama wasn’t actively engaged in the negotiations and allowed the opportunity to “slip away.”

Really? Yet he signed the SoF agreement.

Indeed he did sign it, with the understanding it would be renegotiated. A fact which jibes with the video link I posted where Bush basically called it.

Obama wanted out of Iraq, consequences be damned. And they turned out to be some pretty damnable consequences.
