it wasn't a "victory" or anyone's loss -it could have been a disaster-it was reckless behavior by Putin.
 
It was reckless behaviour in retaliation for reckless behavior- and a large proportion of the world shares RT's view.
 
The proximity to Kaliningrad was clearly NOT made plain to the Russians- despite what we might be told by our media.

I find it hard to believe to the point of incredulity that Russian intelligence wouldn't know where pre-scheduled joint exercises would take place.
Even if they didn't know the exact location they had to know they were happening.

What is so special about Kaliningrad anyhow? It's an enclave. the vast amount of territory around it isn't Russian.
It's on the Baltic - but so is Poland and the Baltic states.

What's so special about Diego Garcia ? That's not even US territory. Kaliningrad is Russia's eye on the Baltic.

There is no indication the exercises were anywhere but where they were supposed to be located.
It was nothing but a Putin stunt.
